HIGHWAY CHILD

Highway Child is the first feature-length independent film created by a group of 12th grade students of the Vienna International School. Directed by Tim Gregory, the film is set in the heart of Vienna, with shots around the city, taking place in its internationally diverse hotspots, such as St. Stephen's Cathedral and the Sky Bar.
The story revolves around Ben Owens, (Van Andre Luzarraga) a young actor, who returns to Vienna, after starring in a Hollywood movie with Denzel Washington and Keira Knightly. Being the third richest kid in the world, Ben battles with balancing true friendship, education and fame. Justin, (Gareth Haylins) Ben's tutor becomes a confidant. He joins Ben to search his deep-seated psychological issues. Will Ben be able to get his life back on the track? Will he ever go back to his life in the fast lane? All this leads to the biggest question of all: Who is Ben Owens?
The film was a huge success shown in three different public cinemas and has the title as the first independent film to have been sold out in all three nights.
