Jami pulled open the heavy door and entered the cool air conditioned building. She strode down the hallway carrying her bag full of wrestling clothes and etc. She entered the locker room and found Trish, Stephanie and Lita sitting and talking. "Hey girl, welcome back!" Lita said, grasping her in a tight hug. the other two girls followed suit. Trish lifted a section of Jami's hair, "wow, this is a change." she said of the bright red streaks that had replaced the previous purple. Jami smiled and ran her hand thru her hair, "yeah, thought I needed a change." "well, you look really good girl." Lita told her, stepping back to look her friend over. She was wearing faded jean cut off shorts and a plain white baby tee. She looked well rested and full of energy. Lita could see she had worked on her tan during her break. "Hey girl, I'm really glad your back. But I can't stay and chat with you, unforunately. I have to go and tape a segment. But I'll catch you later, okay?"Stephanie said, giving her a final squeeze before leaving the locker room. "Yeah, that reminds me, we have to go tape a segment too." Lita told Jami. "yeah, I know, I've already read thru the script that Vince sent to my hotel earlier. I just need to change and get to makeup."

Jami walked into the taping room to join lita, Matt and jeff. She was dressed for the night in a pair of baggy black jeans that hung low on her hips, a red backless tank top and black leather boots. Her hair was pulled up softly at the sides and the red highlights really stood out. Jeff looked at her with a mixture of sorrow and apprehension. She kept her eyes trained away from his gaze, she wasn't ready to talk to him yet. Matt engulfed her in a hug and ran a hand gently over her hair, "hey babe" was all he said. When he pulled away she found herself wrapped in the tentative arms of jeff. He held her tightly and for longer than necessary, but neither pulled away. Finally the camera man coughed and they pulled back. "Uh, let's get to work." Jami said, turning away from jeff.

"Okay, Stephanie has issued a challenge to Chris Jericho. The challenge is a 3 person tag team match. Jericho can pick his partners, and he's picked us. Our opponents are Shane along with the Dudleyz, and so what that means is YOU.." Jeff said, turning and pointing at Jami, "Are not going out there." Jami lifted an eyebrow at him. "Excuse me?" was all she said. "J. Lynn, you aren't going out there." Matt agree'd with Jeff. "Well, for your information, I didn't want to go out there with you guys anyways! So just leave me alone!" and with that she stomped out of the room.

The hardy boyz music played as they began to walk down the ramp with Lita. Shane and the Dudleyz were already in the ring. Chris Jericho's music began to play He joined the Hardyz, but made a motion for the music to stop. He was handed a microphone and he started to make some degrading comments toward Stephanie, who was at ringside with her brother and his tag team partners. "Oh, by the way," Jericho said as the "good girl gone bad" music began to play, "I'm being accompany'd tonight by the beautiful J. Lynn." Jami swung her hips as she walked down the ramp. She smiled cooly at the shocked faces of Lita, Matt and Jeff. "I thought you said you didn't want to come down here." Jeff asked. "No, what I said is that I didn't want to come down here with you." Jami said, jabbing a finger in Jeff's chest before taking Jericho's arm to walk the rest of the way with him.

The match was well under way, with neither team having a clear advantage. Jami kept herself out of the match, although a few times it looked like she was going to get involved, but she kept her head. Before long, the Hardyz and Jericho had won the match when Matt pinned Shane. They were all walking back up the ramp when Stephanie got ahold of a microphone. "Jericho! You may have won the battle but you have far from won the war!" she snarled. "You are your 'team' are pathetic. A bunch of 'losers'. Matt Hardy's girlfriend, Lita, can't wrestle, but then, either can Matt. Jeff Hardy, well, just look at the freak!" Stephanie didn't have time to finish her sentence because Jami ran down to the ring and slid in. She stood grinning at Stephanie as Stephanie looked around to where her brother and the Dudleyz stood beside the ring. Jami slowly advanced on her. "Stephanie, you just made a big mistake. You don't insult my friends and get away with it. You've just made an enemy, and you don't want me as your enemy." Jami threatened. Suddenly Jami dodged to one side as Shane came rushing at her from behind. He had aimed the bell at Jami, but when she moved it hit Stephanie by mistake. Jami quickly slid out of the ring and joined her friends walking to the back.
