Jami stood and stretched. It was close to 2 a.m. Lita and herself were in Matt and Jeff's room, where they had been watching movies. Jeff walked the girls to the door seperating their rooms. Lita sighed and looked down at a sleeping Matt. "Geesh, he's getting to be worse than an old man." she whispered. The trio walked over to their room. Jeff hugged Lita before she disappeared into the room. Jami leaned against the closed door and Jeff leaned against it next to her. he stared at her and she grew self conscious. "What?" she asked. "Nothing." he said.
"so, do you have any idea what Vince is going to do about this Shane thing?" she asked him. "No, not really. I mean, Vince is unpredictable. I'm sure he's pretty upset. He and Shane weren't on the best terms anyways. Hopefully he'll manage to get Shane to knock his crap off." Jeff shrugged his shoulders. "Yeah, maybe. I was talking to Stephanie earlier and she said that she has no idea what's wrong with Shane. She thinks that it has to do with his break up wiht...oh, whats-her-face. He just snapped. Went Crazy. Is a card short of a full deck. A brick short of an outhouse." Jami rambled before Jeff cut her off. "I...I get it. Crazy." Jami grinned, "Steph promised to try and talk some sense into him. But I'm not sure if he'll listen to her. He'll always blame her for running whose-her-face off." "What is the story behind that one?" Jeff asked as he reached out and took Jami's hand.
"Well, I guess Stephanie and whever her name was had a huge fight years ago. Then Shane met her and they became serious. He introduced them and well, all the old tensions were still there. Shane's girl called Steph a nasty witch and Steph slapped her. I guess Shane got the point tha they didn't like each other pretty quickly. He and girl wonder stayed together for another 3 months. Then she and Steph had another little altercation. They got into a cat fight. It was pretty nasty. Well, anyways, Shane's girl broke up with him after that. I think he's better off. She was sleeping around anyways." Jami told him. "whoa! heavy stuff." "yeah, Shane's always been pretty pissed about it. Anyways, what are you and Matt going to do for the spoof show tomorrow night?" Jami asked.
Tomorrow night was a special show. Before each match the wrestlers would do some sort of spoof lip sync. It was a charity show to raise money for various charities. Matt and Jeff had been really secretative about what they were going to do for the show. So, in turn, Jami and LIta had kept their performance under wraps. "Nope, ain't going to tell you." Jami stuck her tongue out at him.
Jeff got a strange look on his face and started staring at her again. "What?" Jami asked. Jeff ran a hand along her cheek before placing a soft kiss on her lips. "I...I love you." he whispered. Jami's breath caught in her throat. "I....you.....I......you...." without warning Jami threw open the door and rushed inside. Right before the door shut she whispered, "Goodnight."
