Title: Missing a Step
Author: Jami Lynn
Chapter: 17
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the wrestlers used in this story, 'cause if I did, I'd be busy with them right now *grin* And not a single butt cheek of theirs belongs to the WWF, to the WWE yes...but not the WWF. But I do own Jami, for she is me. Tasha owns herself. Charity owns herself and if you try to take any of us, you will burn in hell! This is the next story in the Step series...it's the Edge/Tasha sequel. And the address to the stories is at the bottom of this email. And I use the wrestlers wrestling names in the story, JUST DEAL WIT IT! And don't bother suing me...all you'd get is a half eaten ham sandwich and a bag of chips from 2 years ago. And Amanda, aka Phoenix, is not a bitch in real life. She's actually a very nice girl. =) She's just a bitch in this story for my purposes *L* So, no bashing real Amanda.
Distribution: Ask me if you can use it, more than likely I will say yes.
Rating: So far, it's a PG-13
Content: Nothing bad as of yet, probably won't be anything to bad either....maybe some cussing.
Spoilers: Just making things up as I go.
Summary: Can Jami and Tasha deal with Phoenix being in the WWE?
Feedback: I need feedback like I need air! So give it to me, babee! I have been suffocating lately....so please, send in the feedback.

Tasha again let her eyes flutter open. Something in the darkened room had woke her up from her deep slumber. She let her eyes form narrow slits as she watched the shadows, waiting for one to come to life in front of her.
After a few moments a shadow stepped forward and Tasha wached curiously. Her mouth was dry, and her limbs felt heavy, too heavy for her to lift. Tasha's blue eyes watched as the shadowed figure carefully inserted a needle into the IV attatched to her hand.
Inside Tasha screamed for the person to stop. But her body remained motionless. Unable to move to protect herself, Tasha felt the burning sensation that accompanied whatever was being pushed into her veins.
A narrow slit of light appeared to one side, and another shadowed figure entered the room. "What the hell are you doing?" Charity bellowed. The shadowed assailant looked up in shock, just as Charity knocked them away from Tasha's body.
The shadow scrambled back to their feet, and a struggle began between Charity and the Shadow. Tasha struggled to remain conscoius, but found herself losing the battle as the darkness crept in.

Jami held a hand to her woozy head as she struggled to regain her focus on the person who had just entered the room. A hard hand slamming across her cheek helped her thoughts unjumble themselves.
"What the hell are you doing awake already? I put enough of those stupid pills in your drink to knock you out for at least another hour. God, you never could cooperate, could you bitch." Amanda sneered at her.
"Fuck you. What the hell am I doing here?" Jami asked, starting to struggle to her feet. With a hard kick Amanda sent her flying back to the ground. "Don't you remember darling. You innocently stumbled down the stairs looking for a bathroom, before passing out in the stairway. Someone must have slipped you some of those fancy new drugs that the police are always worried about. But luckily, I was there to rescue you." Amanda told her.
"Okay...you drugged me and brought me here...but why? No one will believe that you 'rescused' me from anything." Jami asked. "Well...you are on the right track. No one will believe that I rescused you. So, luckily for you, I have another plan. Poor Tasha is not going to recover from her 'accident' with Nidia. And poor, distraught, emotional Jami will accidently overdose on alcohol and drugs. Such a shame too. Such a bright future before her." Amanda laughed.
"Fuck you! That's not going to happen. I'm leaving." Jami growled, struggling to her feet. Amanda watched as Jami moved past her to the door and flung it open. But that's as far as she got. Standing in the doorway was Kevin Nash. A leer restling on his lips, he grabbed the small woman by her arms, pinning them to her sides. Amanda walked out of the room, and Nash kicked the door shut behind him.
Jami let out a scream as she felt Nash dig a needle into her skin. After a few moments of struggling, blackness closed in on her.
