Title: Last Step
Author: Jami Lynn
Chapter: 8
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the wrestlers used in this story, 'cause if I did, I'd be busy with them right now *grin* And not a single butt cheek of theirs belongs to the WWF, to the WWE yes...but not the WWF. But I do own Jami, for she is me. Tasha owns herself. Charity owns herself and if you try to take any of us, you will burn in hell! This is the next story in the Step series...it's the Jami/Jeff sequel. And the address to the stories is at the bottom of this email. And I use the wrestlers wrestling names in the story, JUST DEAL WIT IT! And don't bother suing me...all you'd get is a half eaten ham sandwich and a bag of chips from 2 years ago.
Distribution: Ask me if you can use it, more than likely I will say yes.
Rating: So far, it's a PG-13
Content: Nothing bad as of yet, probably won't be anything to bad either....maybe some cussing.
Spoilers: Just making things up as I go.
Summary: It's the last story...will it all come together, or all fall apart?
Feedback: I need feedback like I need air! So give it to me, babee! I have been suffocating lately....so please, send in the feedback.

Jami brushed the falling tears off her face as she grabbed the bag containing her street clothes. She didn't bother to change out of her ring clothes as she fled down one hallway after another, she didn't know where she was going, only that she hoped it was far away from where the words Jeff had spoke still hung in the air.

She stopped at the end of a dead end hallway, resting her forehead on the cool cement wall. Her knees were weak and she knew that at any moment she was going to pass out. Just as she felt herself slipping to the floor, strongarms lifted her and pulled her to their chest. Then it all went black

"Baby J, baby girl...wake up." a low voice prodded. Jami slowly let her eyes slide open. Undertaker stood before her, a worried frown on his face. "What...where am I?" Jami asked, confused by her surroundings.

"you're in my locker room. You passed out in the hallway." Sara explained, coming into Jami's vision. "Oh my head is killing me." Jami's hand flew to her head.

The Undertaker was sitting on the couch next to Jami, who had moved into a sitting position. Undertaker leaned forward to rest his hands on Jami's knees. "Jami, I don't mean to get in your business...but we are worried about you. We saw the segment earlier....and although it looked okay to the crowd, we know something was wrong."

Jami's face crumbled into anguish and the moment she felt Undertakers arms go around her, the story came tumbling out in small bursts. "Jeff is mad. Everyone knew before him...but that wasn't my fault. Everyone smothering me." Jami choked out.

"What did everyone know? You've lost me here." Undertaker said. "I'm pregnant!" Jami cried out, a new wave of tears cascading down her face. Undertaker shot a look to Sara as he gently rocked back and forth with Jami in his arms. Sara nodded and slipped out of the room.

After a few moments Jami quited her sobs and Undertaker directed her towards the bathroom. Jeff came into the locker room just as Jami disappeared into the bathroom. Sara lead Jeff into the room, and Undertaker walked up to him as he saw Jeff's eyes scan the room, looking for his wife.

"She's here man...but you can't just drag her back by the hair." Undertaker said. Jeff pushed away the Undertaker, not saying a word. Undertaker's eyes clouded over, "NO ONE TOUCHES ME!" He snarled.

Sara pulled Jeff back, "Uh, UT-baby, why don't you sit on the couch." UT glared at Jeff before slamming himself down on the couch.

Jami walked out of the bathroom, her eyes widening as she spotted Jeff's green hair. She slid along the wall over towards the couch. Undertaker leaned back and patted his lap.

Jami climbed into his lap like a small child climbing into her daddies lap. "I thought you said that no one was allowed to touch you." Jeff whined.

UT shot him a glare that silenced him. "Jami isn't just anyone. She's my baby diva. And she was that way before she was your wife. So you better watch your tongue boy."

Jami put a hand on UT's chest to stop him. "It's okay, I do have something to say to Jeff." Jami said, moving to stand.

"Jeff, yes...I am responsible for what happened to our first baby....our son. At least in my own mind. But I can take care of this baby. With or withOUT you." Jami said, before she quietly left the room.
