Title: Not So Angelic
Author: Jami Lynn
Chapter: 34
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the wrestlers used in this story, 'cause if I did, I'd be busy with them right now *grin*. But I do own Jami, for she is me. Tasha owns herself. (Heaven help the person who tries to claim he/she owns either of us).  And I use the wrestlers wrestling names in the story, JUST DEAL WIT IT! And don't bother suing me...all you'd get is a half eaten ham sandwich and a bag of chips from 2 years ago.
Distribution: Ask me if you can use it, more than likely I will say yes.
Rating: So far, it's a PG-13
Content: Nothing bad as of yet, probably won't be anything to bad either....maybe some cussing.
Spoilers: Um...anything can happen and I'm just writing as I go, so I don't know yet *L*.
Summary: New Story

"Good evening son." Vince McMahon greeted as he approached the young couple along with Linda. Jaylynn turned on her brightest smile as Vince and Linda both turned their attention to her. "Good evening Jaylynn." Vince greeted her.

"It's good to finally meet you in person. Shane has spoken very highly of you." Linda spoke. Jaylynn shot a grin at Shane, who blushed slightly. "It's good to finally meet the most powerful woman in the WWE." Jaylynn said.

"Don't let Stephanie hear you say that." Linda chuckled. "Did I hear my name?" Stephanie asked as she approached the foursome on the arm of Hunter. Hunter greated them with a smirk before he began to glance around the room. "You must be hearing things darling." Linda spoke.

"Well mother, Jaylynn, why don't we go mingle and let these boys talk shop." Stephanie suggested. Jaylynn extracted herself from Shane's grasp and placed a kiss on his cheek. Stephanie looped an arm through Jaylynn's as they walked alongside her mother.

"I love the dress Jaylynn. Mildie did a great job." Stephanie complimented. "Thanks. Shane made me try on about 750 dresses. Neither of us particularly cared for the more diva-esque dresses." Jaylynn said.

"It's a very classy dress Jaylynn. Nothing like what Joanie Laurer or Rena Mero have worn to these events." Linda broke in. "That means she is pleased that you look respectable and not like a playboy bunny." Stephanie said in a stage whisper.

"Stephanie!" Linda snapped. "Well, that's what you meant mother." Stephanie said.

Jaylynn laughed, "You should have seen the dress Shane picked out. I looked like a marshmellow." Jaylynn giggled. Linda and Stephanie shot each other an amused look. "What?" Jaylynn asked, confused.

"So, this dress was white and fluffy?" Linda asked. "yes." Jaylynn asnwered. "Hate to break it you girl, but it sounds like Shane approved a wedding-type dress. Seems like a certain march might be on his mind." Stephanie laughed.

"Oh no! we aren't near that stage yet."Jaylynn brushed the idea off. "Dear, you might not be at that stage yet, but the McMahon men move at a breakneck speed. So do their relationships." Linda spoke softly.

Jaylynn quietly mulled their words over in her head as a photographer approached the three of them and asked to get a picture of them together. They smiled as their image was forever branded together.

***

Jaylynn stood next to Shane, his arm once again around her waist. He was talking to a director that she had already forgotten the man's name. Stephanie stood beside her, discussing the latest vacation spot with the directors wife.

Jaylynn let her eyes roam the crowd and her body tensed up when she saw a pretty brunette woman approaching them, dragging a handsome man behind her. Shane felt her body tense and followed her eyes. He quickly removed his arm from around her waist and grasped her hand tightly. The move comforted her some as their skin came into contact.

Jaylynn watched as the woman pushed her way through a few people in a skin tight, floor length dress. The woman immediently headed straight for Shane and kissed him on the lips. Shane gently pushed her away with his free hand.

"You're drunk." he commented. "So? Is that anyway to greet your wife?" Marissa pouted.

"Soon to be ex-wife. At least I hope it'll be soon." Shane said. Marissa opened her mouth to say something but Stephanie spoke first. "Marissa, have you met Ms. Jaylynn Emerson? The love of my brother's life?"

Marissa narrowed her eyes at Jaylynn, who shifted uncomfortably. "Is that true Shaney? You've replaced me?" Marissa pouted. "No Marissa, I haven't replaced you. Jaylynn is nothing like you. In fact, she's better than you...and better for me." Shane spoke. Marissa turned on her heel and left the group quickly, stung by his words.
