Jaylynn sat quietly staring at the blank TV
screen. Confidential had been over for an hour or two, and Jaylynn's only
move had been to raid her mini-fridge. An empty bottle of Vodka sat at her
feet and the bottle of Jack was clutched tightly in her hands.
The only sound in the room was the shrill ring
of the room phone and the slightly jazzy tune of her cell phone. Jaylynn
hadn't made a move to answer either of them. They had been ringing ever
since the segment on Confidential had ended. Finally frustration and hurt
won out as Jaylynn grabbed the hotel room phone and flung it against the
wall. "Just leave me the fuck alone." She screamed at the phone.
Jaylynn's mind was fuzzy from the affects of
the alcohol. She felt the room tightening around her, the walls were closing
in on her. She had to get out of the room.
She took a few stumbling steps towards the
door before crashing to the floor. She wasn't use to drinking a whole hell
of a lot, and tonight she had definitely drank her fair share. Luckily, if
push came to shove, she knew how to act like she was completely sober,
thanks to drinking her days away in one Indy fed. She knew she's pay for her
drinking dearly in the morning.
Jaylynn crawled towards the door, making sure
that she didn't spill any of the Jack in the bottle still clutched in her
hand. She opened the door and crawled outside into the hallway. She let the
door click shut before she leaned up against it.
"Now what?" Jaylynn asked herself outloud. It
was after 1 a.m. and most of the wrestlers were either asleep or to drunk to
care about her. Jaylynn sprawled out in the hallway, drinking slowly from
the bottle in her hand.
"Jaylynn, are you ok?" she heard someone ask
from above her. "God, ish that you?" Jaylynn slurred slightly, cursing
herself for the slip.
"Yeah, but you can call me Jeff." Jeff Hardy
grinned as he sat down next to her on the floor. "you know, I didn't think
God would have blue hair." Jaylynn said.
"Someone's been drinking a bit." Jeff
commented. "No, I've been drinking a lot. Probably to much. But no more
pain. All ish good." Jaylynn grinned. Damnit, why was it so hard for her to
say is without slurring it.
"Maybe you should stop drinking now." Jeff
said, grabbing the bottle from her. "Don't be mad. I'll share. Drink up."
Jaylynn said. Jeff shrugged and gulped down some Jack.
"how are you doing after seeing the show?"
Jeff asked. Jaylynn concentrated on forming the words. "It hurt. I know fans
will hate me now. Shane came out looking like a victim too. Made me seem
like a bitch." Jaylynn said.
"No it didn't. You came off as someone who had
a crime committed against them. Shane looked like a monster." Jeff told her.
"he will get sympathy from the fans." Jaylynn said.
"Listen, I was on my way to drop some stuff
off for Amy and Matt. Maybe I'll come by and check on you in a bit." Jeff
said. "Don't bother. I'm just going to go to bed." Jaylynn yawned.
"Well, go inside then. We don't need anyone
taking advantage of you." jeff said. Jaylynn nodded, watching him leave.

Jaylynn woke up, her head throbbing and the
room spinning. Her mouth felt dry even though she was drooling slightly from
sleep. She noticed that her clothes were off and wondered how they had come
off. She didn't remember undressing. In fact, she didn't remember much of
last night.
With wide eyes Jaylynn realized that one
person could tell her what had happened. And it was the person that belonged
to the lightly tattoo'd arm that was flung around her naked waist.
