Title: Angelic Beginnings
Author: Jami Lynn
Chapter: 15
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the wrestlers used in this story, 'cause if I did, I'd be busy with them right now *grin*. But I do own Jami, for she is me. Tasha owns herself. (Heaven help the person who tries to claim he/she owns either of us).  And I use the wrestlers wrestling names in the story, JUST DEAL WIT IT! And don't bother suing me...all you'd get is a half eaten ham sandwich and a bag of chips from 2 years ago.
Distribution: Ask me if you can use it, more than likely I will say yes.
Rating: So far, it's a PG-13
Content: Nothing bad as of yet, probably won't be anything to bad either....maybe some cussing.
Spoilers: Um...anything can happen and I'm just writing as I go, so I don't know yet *L*.
Summary: New Story
Feedback: I need feedback like I need air! So give it to me, babee!

Jaylynn was still trying to shake the groggy feeling from her brain at 10 the next morning. Her body was trying to get use to the long hours on the road. Shane's knock came at 10:03 and she fumbled towards the door.

"you're three minutes late." She said with a yawn. "Sorry, I take it that you are ready to go then?" Shane asked.

Jaylynn nodded as she grabbed her suitcase and ring gear bag. She was dressed for comfort in a pair of black track pants with a racing stripe up the sides and a WWE WOmen's baby tee. Shane had worn baggy jeans and a white t-shirt. His curly hair was hidden by a stocking cap.

"Do you want to ride with the top up or down?" Jaylynn asked as she stepped out into the sunshine, locking her door behind her. "Top down, if you're not worried it might mess up your hair." Shane said.

Jaylynn pulled a Cubs baseball cap out of her bag, firmly placing it on her head before pulling her ponytail out the back of it and knotting it into a bun. Next she threw on a pair of sunglasses. Shane laughed, "you are one low maintence chick." Jaylynn nodded, she didn't usually talk much until she had her morning latte.

The car ride was silent except for the radio playing some oldies rock music. From the moment Jaylynn had turned her car onto the highway Shane had been softly snoring in the passanger seat. Jaylynn didn't mind though, at least this way he wasn't asking personal questions. Questions that she didn't want to answer but kept doing so for some strange reason.

Shane stirred next to her. "How much longer?" he muttered. "Five minutes, if that." Jaylynn told him. Shane sat up. "I'm suprised that I slept with all the wind." Shane said. "It's rather soothing to ride in a convertible with the top down." Jaylynn told him.

Shane flipped the visor down to check his appearance in the mirror. Jaylynn nearly drove off the road when Shane shrieked like a girl. "What? What's wrong?" She asked in alarm.

"My face! My face is bright ass red!" Shane wailed. Jaylynn laughed. "Two things, it's called wind burn and it happens. Second, how red is an ass?"

Shane muttered something under his breath that Jaylynn didn't quiet catch. "What was that?" She asked. "Nothing. What am I going to do?" Shane cried out in frustration.

"What is the big deal? So what if you face is a little red?" Jaylynn asked. "Girls love me. They take pictures of me. I can't let them take pictures of me looking like this." Shane told her.

"here's an idea. Put your mask on. It'll cover most of the wind burned area." Jaylynn rolled her eyes. "Brillant! Hey how come your face isn't red?" Shane asked as he pulled his mask out of a site panel of his bag and pulled it over his face.

"My skin is use to it by now." Jaylynn said as she turned into the arena parking lot.
