And don't bother suing me...all you'd get is a half eaten ham sandwich and a bag of chips from 2 years ago.

Jaylynn slowly made her way through the hotel later that night. They were staying in the same town as the show had been in that night, and then traveling to the next one tomorrow. "Jaylynn, wait up!" she heard Shane Helms voice call out ot her.

Jaylynn turned and smiled as he approached her. "Hey, what's up?" she asked. "God, you walk fast. Anyway, I usually travel to the shows with Shannon, but now that Kali's here, they'll want to travel together and have some private time." Shane said.

Jaylynn looked at him, waiting for him to continue. When he didn't she said, "okay" drawing the word out. This snapped Shane back to what he had been saying, "Oh yeah. Well, since we have Thursday off and we both live in Raleigh, I was wondering if you'd want to travel together? I mean, if you wanted to we could start on Friday. If you don't, that's okay, I can third wheel it." Shane said.

Jaylynn thought about it for a moment. She'd been traveling by herself and she did miss having someone to talk to, and to share the driving time. But then, she barely knew Shane. WHat if he was some homicidal driver.

"On one condition." Jaylynn finally said. "What's that?" Shane asked. "We take my car." she laughed.

Jaylynn arrived at the arena the next day a little later than she had planned. A group of about 30 fans stood outside the arena as she pulled up in her little black mazda miata convertible. She hit the trunk release button and got out of the car. She pulled her rolling suitcase out and as she neared the fans she heard a few calling her name.

She quickly checked her watch. With a deep breath she left her suitcase with one of the security guards and cautiously made her way over to the fans. "holy cow! Angel, can you sign this. Can I have a picture with you." a few fans asked. "S-sure." Jaylynn said.

Pieces of paper were shoved at her and she randomly signed them. Her autograph consisted of her scrawling Angel and drawing a halo over it. Jaylynn smiled in the direction people told her to smile in before she finally left. "I'm late. I'm sorry." She told the fans as she collected her suitcase.

Once inside the arena she breathed a bit easier. It was odd having all these people know so much about her. Even things that were untrue. She still felt like the small town girl she had always been.

She was still lost in her thoughts when she entered the lockeroom. The other Diva's were were gathered in the center of the room talking but silenced themselves when Jaylynn came in. "Hey, what's going on?" Jaylynn asked, feeling self conscious.

"Oh nothing. We were just talking. Lisa was here a few minutes ago." Trish said. "How is she? She hates me, doesn't she?" Jaylynn said, dropping her bag. "She's gotta have surgery to put a few pins her elbow. But she'll be fine." Amy said, sending a warning look to the other girls.

Jaylynn felt the heat rush to her face. They were all thinking the same thing. She's screwed up big time. And the worst thing was that it was the truth.

Jaylynn took a deep breath before she softly rapped on a door that had been labeled as a temporary office. "Come in" a feminine voice called out. Jaylynn let the door swing shut behind her after she entered.

"Oh hi Jaylynn. What can I do for you?" Stephanie McMahon smiled. "hi Stephanie. I...well, I have a problem. And I'm not sure who to go to. And since you are the head of the creative writing team, I thought you might be able to help." Jaylynn said.

"You're not pregnant, are you?" Stephanie asked, alarm widening her eyes. "oh no...no, nothing like that." Jaylynn reassured her. "Oh good. We just had another scare with another Diva." Stephanie laughed with relief. "So, what's the problem?" Stephanie prodded.

"I injured Lisa on Raw. I really injured her. I know the other Diva's are questioning my skills, and truth be known, I'm questioning them too." Jaylynn admitted. Stephanie leaned back in her chair, thinking. "I understand how you feel, but I'm not sure what you want me to do." Stephanie told her.

"I'm not all that sure either. I'm just not sure the other Diva's will be willing to compete in the ring with me after this. I know I can't be taken out of the storyline, and really, that's not what I'm asking. I guess I Just wanna know if there is a way we can work around my incompetence in the ring." Jaylynn chocked out.

"First, you aren't incompetant in the ring. Believe me, we don't hire incompetant wrestlers here. I think you are overreacting a bit here. You had an in-ring accident. This stuff happens. We'll work through it. The only thing we'll scale back on is the moonsaults. We'll let you get back to doing that at your own pace. We won't rush you, but we really can't just drop you out of in-ring competition." Stephanie told her firmly.

Jaylynn nodded as tears pricked the back of her eyes, "Thank you." She mumbled as she left the office.
