Title: Even Angels Fall
Author: Jami Lynn
Chapter: 8
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the wrestlers used in this story, 'cause if I
did, I'd be busy with them right now *grin*. But I do own Jami, for she is me.
Tasha owns herself. (Heaven help the person who tries to claim he/she owns
either of us). And I use the wrestlers
wrestling names in the story, JUST DEAL WIT IT! And don't bother suing me...all
you'd get is a half eaten ham sandwich and a bag of chips from 2 years ago.
Distribution: Ask me if you can use it, more than likely I will say yes.
Rating: So far, it's a PG-13
Content: Nothing bad as of yet, probably won't be anything to bad
either....maybe some cussing.
Spoilers: Um...anything can happen and I'm just writing as I go, so I don't know
yet *L*.

Shane McMahon stalked around his Connecticut hom, an uneasy feeling rippling
through his body. It had been nearly 24 hours since Jaylynn had seemingly
disappeared into thin air. No one had seen the woman inside the arena or
leaving. None of her friends had sen her. She literally had walked out of his
office in just a bra and wrestling tights, only to disappear.
Shane grabbed his cell phone and quickly punched in a phone number. "Have you
found anything yet?" he growled into the phone as a greeting. "No sir. We still
haven't located Miss Emerson." a rough voice answered.
"You are her bodyguards. Your job is to guard her body. Now, tell me, how can
you guard her body if you can't even find it?" Shane asked. "We are working on
it. She seems to have disappeared without a trace. We are working on it." The
bodyguard said.
"FIND HER NOW!" Shane barked before hanging up the phone. A knock came at his
door and he rushed to open it, hoping to find Jaylynn on the other side. Instead
his sister smiled at him. "Hey Shane-O. Any word yet?" Stephanie asked.
"No. Nothing. Absolutely nothing." Shane moaned. "Well big brother...are you
ready to tell me what exactly you guys fought about her that drove her to run
off?" Stephanie asked, throwing her coat off and taking a seat on the couch.
Shane sank down on the couch next to his sister, holding his head in his hands.
"She was confused about the storyline change last night. She was upset that she
wasn't told about it." Shane began. "I thought you said she'd be ok with it.
That she liked suprises or whatever." Stephanie cut in.
"Well, I was wrong. She wanted to know about my sudden need to get back in the
spotlight. I ended up admitting that I hated having to watch her kiss and all
that crap with other guys. That it killed me." Shane said, pausing. "Ok, and
then what?" Stephanie asked.
"Well, she reminded me that it wasn't real. That Kali was dealing with it...that
superstar's spouses deal with it...." Shane trailed off. "And what did you say?"
Stephanie asked.
"Well, I asked her....what if it was real. That I...I didn't know if Jeff or
Shannon were kissing Angel or Jaylynn. And I didn't know who was kissing them
back." Shane groaned. Stephanie hit her brother on the shoulder. "Jerk off! That
was about stupid! I'm surprised that you dont' have an imprint of her hand
across your face." Stephanie told him.
"I know...then I barged into Shane Helms' room looking for her. Then Jeff
Hardy's room where he was with some ring rat with blonde hair. I made a complete
ass out of myself." Shane said. "Why'd you assume she was with Shane or Jeff?"
Stephanie asked.
"Well, Jeff has been trying to get all close to her and everything. I can just
tell he's up to no good. And then...well...it's complicated with her and Helms."
Shane said. "What's so complicated about it? They are friends." Stephanie said.
"Bullshit. He's got some mad lust thing for her. He'd love to bag her." Shane
growled. "Grow the fuck up!" Stephanie cursed.
Shane looked slightly taken aback. "Excuse me?" he asked. "you heard me. Just
because they are friends, and maybe there is a physical attraction there,
doesn't mean that they are down each other's pants." Stephanie growled.
"That's it. I'm going to North Carolina." Shane decided, standing to his feet.
