Title: Even Angels Fall
Author: Jami Lynn
Chapter: 29
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the wrestlers used in this story, 'cause if I
did, I'd be busy with them right now *grin*. But I do own Jami, for she is me.
Tasha owns herself. (Heaven help the person who tries to claim he/she owns
either of us). And I use the wrestlers
wrestling names in the story, JUST DEAL WIT IT! And don't bother suing me...all
you'd get is a half eaten ham sandwich and a bag of chips from 2 years ago.
Distribution: Ask me if you can use it, more than likely I will say yes.
Rating: So far, it's a PG-13
Content: Nothing bad as of yet, probably won't be anything to bad
either....maybe some cussing.
Spoilers: Um...anything can happen and I'm just writing as I go, so I don't know
yet *L*.
Summary: New Story
Feedback: I need feedback like I need air! So give it to me, babee!

Jaylynn carefully reapplied her lip gloss
in the locker room after the show. A few of the other women were scattered
through the room in various degrees of undress.
Jaylynn watched in the mirror as Kali approached her. "Hey, can we talk?" Kali
asked. "Sure." Jaylynn said, smoothing her bleached blonde hair.
"I just wanted to make sure you were...ok. I mean, a lot has happened in the
last week or so, and I just wanted to make sure you were ok." Kali said, seeming
unsure of what she should say. "Sure. Couldn't be better. Why wouldn't I be?"
Jaylynn smiled, refusing to let her eyes meet Kali's in the mirror.
"We've all heard about the thing at the hotel last night." Kali started to say
but Jaylynn cut her off. "I'm not crazy. I know that it happened. I wasn't
imagining it." Jaylynn told her.
"I believe you, but...you've been through a lot. You've been fighting with Jeff,
and Helms, not to mention O'Mac. Maybe you should just take a break or
something." Kali suggested. Jaylynn remained silent and eventually Kali walked
away. "I am NOT crazy." Jaylynn whispered to her reflection.

Jaylynn sat curled up in a chair in the bedroom of the penthouse suite that she
was sharing with Shane McMahon. Sleep hadn't come yet, so instead of tossing and
turning - Jaylynn had slipped out of the bed and crept to the chair.
Something about the night before at her hotel room was nagging at her and she
couldn't figure out what it was. But something was wrong. More than the obvious
disappearance of the letter, picture, and note on the mirror. There was
something else...something that was trying to push through the fog of her brain,
but to no avail.
With a sigh, Jaylynn got up and went back to bed.

*Smackdown the next night*
Angel quietly stretched in the locker room. The camera showed Sinful standing in
the hallway outside, preparing to knock. After a few moments of hesitation, she
rapped on the door. "Come in." Angel said.
Sinful stepped into the room and the camera showed a tearful looking Angel
moving to stand on her feet. "What do you want? Did you come to steal my ring
gear too?" Angel asked. "Look Angel...I wanted to explain." Sinful began.
"There is nothing to explain. The video spoke for itself." Angel cut her off.
"But it's not like that! Shannon and I were a mistake. I only meant to use him
to toughen you up. Make it so you weren't such a goody two shoes. I never
expected things to get so out of hand. I'm your sister Angel, I would never hurt
you." Sinful said tearfully.
"And this has nothing to do with Stephanie making me the special guest referee
in your match Sunday for the women's title?" Angel asked. Sinful looked shocked.
"You are the referee? I had no idea. When was this decided?" Sinful asked.
"Earlier today. I went to Stephanie and asked to be the referee." Angel
answered. "Look Angel, I never meant for you to get hurt. I was trying to make
this a business deal with Shannon. Hoping that he'd bring out the forceful side
in you. I never expected that you'd fall in love with him. And I never expected
for him to take advantage of you like that. Please, I love you, your my baby
sister. Please forgive me." Sinful pleaded.
After a moment's pause, Angel tearfully hugged her sister and smiled.

"Angel, we just saw your reunion with your sister. Did you really believe her
bull?" Terri asked as she cornered Angel for an interview. "What bull? Sinful is
my big sister. She was only looking out for me." Angel said, smiling.
"Ok then. Will this effect your remaining impartial during the match Sunday
night?" Terri asked. "All I will say is that Sinful has been working hard to get
a shot at the women's title. She deserve's it. And I'll be there to make sure
she gets what she deserves." Angel said, rubbing the back of her head. She
grinned before leaving Terri speechless.
