Title: Even Angels Fall
Author: Jami Lynn
Chapter: 30
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the wrestlers used in this story, 'cause if I did, I'd be busy with them right now *grin*. But I do own Jami, for she is me. Tasha owns herself. (Heaven help the person who tries to claim he/she owns either of us).  And I use the wrestlers wrestling names in the story, JUST DEAL WIT IT! And don't bother suing me...all you'd get is a half eaten ham sandwich and a bag of chips from 2 years ago.
Distribution: Ask me if you can use it, more than likely I will say yes.
Rating: So far, it's a PG-13
Content: Nothing bad as of yet, probably won't be anything to bad either....maybe some cussing.
Spoilers: Um...anything can happen and I'm just writing as I go, so I don't know yet *L*.
Summary: New Story
Feedback: I need feedback like I need air! So give it to me, babee!

*Friday night*

Jaylynn knocked on the men's locker room door and waited rather impatiently for someone to open it. Finally Brock Lesnar pulled open the door and looked own at her. "So this is what the other end looks like." Brock smirked.

"Oh shut up you overgrown oaf. Is Helms here? I need to talk to him." Jaylynn asked, trying to peek around Brock's large frame, but the man took up the entire doorway. "Hey, are you trying to get a look - there are naked men in here." Brock said.

"And your point is what? Y'all afraid that I'll see what you got and laugh?" Jaylynn smiled. "Hey, I heard that! I'm insulted!" She heard Dave Batista laugh.

"I didn't even mention your name David, glad to hear that you recognize yourself though." Jaylynn shot back through Brock. "Listen, turn your little ass around so I can get Helms without you getting an eyeful." Brock insisted.

Jaylynn heaved a sigh before turning around. Right before the door shut she heard him mutter, "There's the good side again."

After a few moments the door reopened and someone stepped out ot stand behind her. Jaylynn cautiously looked over her shoulder and then turned all the way around when she saw Helms leaning against the wall. "Hey, can we go somewhere to talk?" Jaylynn asked. "No, you can talk here." Shane said.

Jaylynn nodded mutely, struggling to remember the speech she had practiced in her head. "Are you actually going to talk or just stare at your feet?" Shane asked. 'Screw the speech.' Jaylynn thought to herself.

"I need to talk to you about the stuff you said the other night. First, I didn't choose Shane McMahon over you." Jaylynn said. "Bullshit!" Shane interrupted.

"When you and I kissed that night...I was already seeing Shane McMahon. I didn't even know that I had the option of choosing you. But I had already chosen to be with McMahon, and I don't take those sort of decisions lightly. Honestly, I had no clue that you really did have feelings for me until you said so the other night. I didn't know you were an option!" Jaylynn felt the words spill out of her mouth.

"But you know now." Shane told her simply. Tears prickled the back of Jaylynn's eyes. "It's not that simple. Nothing is that simple anymore." Jaylynn whispered. "Yes it is Jaylynn." was Shane's reply.

Deciding to move the subject a bit Jaylynn said, "I didn't sleep with Jeff. If you looked at those pictures you can see that Jeff's hair color changed. I helped him dye his hair and he helped me rebleach mine. That's it. There is nothing going on between me and Jeff. Half the time I can't even stand the man." Jaylynn told him honestly.

"Then why didn't he tell me that?" Shane asked. "Didn't he tell you?" Jaylynn asked. Shane shook his head. "I asked him what was going on between you and two. He asked what I was talking about. I...well, I told him that I knew he was sleeping with you and using you. He just got pissed and told me to mind my own business. That's when we started fighting." Shane said.

"Maybe he didn't tell you because he thought you should know better. That you should have had more faith in both of us. Or that you shouldn't assume things." Jaylynn told him. Shane stared at her for a moment before shrugging and retreating back into the locker room.
