Title: Even Angels Fall
Author: Jami Lynn
Chapter: 16
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the wrestlers used in this story, 'cause if I
did, I'd be busy with them right now *grin*. But I do own Jami, for she is me.
Tasha owns herself. (Heaven help the person who tries to claim he/she owns
either of us). And I use the wrestlers
wrestling names in the story, JUST DEAL WIT IT! And don't bother suing me...all
you'd get is a half eaten ham sandwich and a bag of chips from 2 years ago.
Distribution: Ask me if you can use it, more than likely I will say yes.
Rating: So far, it's a PG-13
Content: Nothing bad as of yet, probably won't be anything to bad
either....maybe some cussing.
Spoilers: Um...anything can happen and I'm just writing as I go, so I don't know
yet *L*.
Summary: New Story
Feedback: I need feedback like I need air! So give it to me, babee!

"I don't know what to tell you Shane. All she's done is sleep the entire time
off...Yes, we'll still be at the house show tomorrow night...No, she hasn't told
me what is wrong. Only that you guys had a fight...An Intense fight...Ok, I'll
see you tomorrow." Amy spoke into her cell phone late the next evening.
Shane McMahon had called Amy to check on Jaylynn but Amy didn't have much more
to report. Jaylynn had barely eaten anything or spoken to anyone. Amy was
worried. Jaylynn was depressed and she couldn't do a thing about it if Jaylynn
wouldn't tell her what was wrong.
Amy went back into the living room to watch TV with Matt, Shane, and Shannon.
"Where's Jeff?" Amy asked, noting that the man had disappeared. "He went up to
bring Jaylynn some water and popcorn." Matt said.
"I wish that Kali had come with me this week. Maybe with both of you talking ot
her, she'd open up." Shannon told Amy.

Jeff knocked softly on Jaylynn's door. "Come in." He heard a quiet voice answer.
He opened the door and waited for his eyes to focus in the semi-dark. The shades
were drawn and only a small desk light shed light into the room.
Jeff closed the door and made his way over to the bed where Jaylynn was sitting
with her knees pulled up to her chest. She was wearing black jogging pants and a
black sweatshirt, her hair pulled back into a loose ponytail. Jeff set the bowl
of popcorn and bottle of water on a beside table before sitting on the bed next
to her. "Wanna talk about it?" Jeff asked. "no." Jaylynn answered.
Jeff nodded and leaned back against the wall. Silence stretched on for miles
between them. "Don't take this the wrong way, but why are you still in here?"
Jaylynn asked. "Because...I think you need to know that I'm here for you. And
the best way to do that is to be...here." Jeff told her.
"But we've never really gotten along. Why do you care?" Jaylynn asked. "Because
I do." Jeff shrugged as if that explained it all. Another long silence stretched
between them.
"Can I ask you something? But you have to swear to not tell anyone I asked you
this. NO ONE." Jaylynn spoke. "Okay. I won't tell a soul." Jeff promised.
"What is the deal with Shane McMahon, Shane Helms and Katrina Milgullin?"
Jaylynn asked. "How'd you know about her?" Jeff asked, sounding a tad bit
shocked.
Jaylynn shrugged, "I have my ways. I know that she and Helms were serious before
she fell for McMahon. I heard that it devestated Helms. But...it somehow
devestated McMahon, didn't it?" she asked. "Yes it did." Jeff told her honestly.
"How did he get hurt? I thought McMahon won the girl." Jaylynn said. "I really
don't think I should be the one to tell you about this. I think you should talk
to Shane McMahon yourself." Jeff said.
"No, I can't. He forbid me to ever say her name." Jaylynn replied, her voice
taking on an eerily fearful tone. She felt a few tears slip down her cheek and
hated herself for this display of emotion. "Jaylynn? What happened when you
asked O'Mac about Katrina?" Jeff asked.
"Nothing." Jaylynn sniffled. "He hit you, didn't he?" Jeff asked, anger creeping
into his voice.
"No, he didn't hit me." Jaylynn told him, trying to sound like she was telling
the truth, but she knew she was failing miserably. "Yes he did. He hit you."
Jeff said, standing on his feet.
Jaylynn jumped to her feet next to him. "No. No." She told him. "That son of a
bitch hit you. You're not suppose to hit a woman..." Jeff cursed. "No, he
didn't." Jaylynn broke in but Jeff went on like he didn't hear her. "I'll kill
him. You'r not suppose to hit a woman." Jeff repeated.
Jaylynn grabbed Jeff's arm. "He didn't hit me. Only grabbed me by the throat.
But I'm okay. Really, I'm fine." Jaylynn told him, trying to get him to listen
to her. "He did what?" Jeff asked, turning to look at her.
"It was nothing. I'm fine. Our arguement just got a little out of hand. It's
okay now." Jaylynn turned the corners of her mouth up in what she hoped
resembled a smile. "That's it! The guys and I are going to kill him." Jeff said,
moving to leave the room.
Jaylynn latched on to his arm, pulling him further into the room. "No,
please...no. I don't want anyone to know. Please. I shouldn't have told you. I
don't want anyone to go after Shane." Jaylynn pleaded.
"Why? He tried to hurt you." Jeff said. "It was an accident. He didn't mean it.
He loves me and I love him." Jaylynn told him.
"That's bullshit and you know it. You don't know what he's capable of." Jeff
said. Jaylynn's body turned cold, as did her expression. "Jeff, this is my life.
Stay out of it." She told him. Jeff shook his head at her as if he was
disappointed in her before turning and leaving the room.
