Title: Even Angels Fall
Author: Jami Lynn
Chapter: 17
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the wrestlers used in this story, 'cause if I
did, I'd be busy with them right now *grin*. But I do own Jami, for she is me.
Tasha owns herself. (Heaven help the person who tries to claim he/she owns
either of us). And I use the wrestlers
wrestling names in the story, JUST DEAL WIT IT! And don't bother suing me...all
you'd get is a half eaten ham sandwich and a bag of chips from 2 years ago.
Distribution: Ask me if you can use it, more than likely I will say yes.
Rating: So far, it's a PG-13
Content: Nothing bad as of yet, probably won't be anything to bad
either....maybe some cussing.
Spoilers: Um...anything can happen and I'm just writing as I go, so I don't know
yet *L*.
Summary: New Story

Jaylynn pulled her blonde hair up into a
ponytail before her match at teh house show. The other women milled about in the
locker room, talking and laughing. "Hey Jaylynn, you gonna go out and grab a
beer with us tonight after the show?" Jacqueline asked. "I don't think so
Jackie. I'm dead tired and just want to go to bed." Jaylynn answered.
Jacqueline shrugged and Jaylynn left the locker room, heading for the curtain.
She could hear the crowd cheering for the Chris Nowinski versus Tommy Dreamer
match. She stretched out in the hallway just off the entrance curtain.
"You need to tell someone." she heard a male voice tell her. "Go away Jeff."
Jaylynn spoke, stretching her arm across her chest.
"If you don't, I will." Jeff threatened. "Fine. Go for it. I'll just deny it."
Jaylynn issued her own threat.
"Why are you trying to protect him?" Jeff asked. "Because he's my boyfriend.
Someone I care very much for. Now can we please leave it at that?" Jaylynn
asked.
"No we can't. He tried to hurt you Jaylynn. Choking you isn't a sign of love."
Jeff told her. "Jeff...drop it! We aren't going to discuss this here where
anyone can see or hear us." Jaylynn hissed.
"No, I won't drop it. An if you don't want to talk about it here then we'll talk
about it tonight. I'll be at your hotel room an hour after the show ends." Jeff
said before walking off.
Jaylynn heard Dreamer and Nowinski ending their match so she quickly put a smile
on her face. Now she had to be Angel.

"Jaylynn!" Jaylynn pulled the strap of her bag higher on her shoulder before
turning towards the sound of her name. Shane McMahon stood behind her, looking
pitiful. "Can I please talk to you for a moment?" he asked.
"Sure. What do you want?" Jaylynn sighed. She had been almost out the door when
he had finally found her. "Right here? Can't we go somewhere private to talk?"
Shane asked.
"Nope. It's now or never." she told him. Shane nodded. "I want to apologize for
what I did Tuesday night. I don't know what happened to me, or why I did it. I
made a mistake and I wouldn't blame you if you never forgave me. I don't think I
can forgive myself." Shane said.
Part of Jaylynn wanted to slap Shane out fo the anger she felt at the fact that
he had laid his hands on her in that way. But another part of her wanted to
fling herself into his arms and forget it all had happened. Pretend that it was
just an accident.
Jaylynn sighed. "I know you didn't mean it Shane. But I can't forget that it
happened either. I think I just need a bit of space. Time to forgive." Jaylynn
said. "Are you breaking up with me?" Shane asked quietly.
Jaylynn momentarily had a high school flashback before shaking her head of the
image. "No Shane." Jaylynn moved closer to him, reaching up to cup his face in
the palm of her hand. "I don't want this to end. And it's not over...at lesat,
not yet. But..even though I love you. Right now I'm not all that sure I like you
very much." Jaylynn told him. Shane didn't speak and Jaylynn turned and left the
arena.
