Tasha owns herself. (Heaven help the person who tries to claim he/she owns
either of us). And I use the wrestlers
wrestling names in the story, JUST DEAL WIT IT! And don't bother suing me...all
you'd get is a half eaten ham sandwich and a bag of chips from 2 years ago.

Rating: So far, it's a PG-13
Content: Nothing bad as of yet, probably won't be anything to bad
either....maybe some cussing.

Jaylynn clawed at the hand around her
throat, struggling to break the hold. Panic had set in and she was struggling to
breathe. Tears slipped down her cheeks as Jaylynn pleaded with Shane.
"Please...Shane..." Jaylynn gasped. A look of fear crossed his face and he
released his hold, backing away from her.
Jaylynn leaned against the wall, coughing, and rubbing her neck. "Jaylynn, I'm
sorry..." Shane said, stepping towards her again. Fear flashed in her eyes.
"Don't. I don't want you to touch me, to look at me. Nothing. Let me out of
here." Jaylynn cried.
Shane nodded and unlocked the door. He began to apologize again, but Jaylynn was
gone before he could form the words.

Jaylynn rode silently in the car next to Amy, watching scenery pass her by. The
moment she had left Shane's office she had run into Amy. Amy didn't know exactly
what was wrong, only that Jaylynn was way to upset to be alone. She had invited
Jaylynn to spend their days off at her house. Usually she stayed with Matt, but
he could come visit her this time she had decided.
Now they were cruising' along the highway in Matt's car, he was stretched out in
the backseat. Amy had picked Jaylynn's bags up from Shane. He hadn't spoken much
while she was there. Only said to tell Jaylynn that he loved her and was sorry.
"Are you okay?" Amy broke the silence. Jaylynn nodded and she could feel Matt
lean up in between the seats. "No you're not. What's wrong?" Matt said.
Jaylynn shook her head, subconsciously rubbing her neck. She was still in shock
about what had happened. Shane had never shown on violent tendency towards her,
and as far as she knew, or anyone else. But at the moment that he had her by the
throat, she had looked into his eyes and not recognized them. He was someone
else. That sounded so clich, but it was true.
His eyes were normally a soft, rich color. But they had been hard and dark as he
clutched her throat. She wasn't sure if he really would have hurt her or not,
but she hadn't wanted to stick around to find out.
"Jaylynn?" She heard Matt say. "Oh, sorry. What?" She asked quietly. "Nothing,
just holding a conversation with your seat, I guess." Matt said.
Amy eyed him in the rear view mirror and he leaned back in his seat, shutting
up. As they pulled up to Amy's house, Jaylynn spoke. "Thanks for inviting me to
stay with you." "Hey, no problem. It'll be fun." Amy grinned.
"I'm sure it will be." Jaylynn spoke sadly. Matt and Amy exchanged worried
glances.

Jaylynn stretched out on the bed Amy had led her to in the guest room. The room
reminded her of her own bedroom. Creme colored walls, hunter green bed covers.
Just like her bed. The one she had shared a few times with Shane.
Jaylynn felt a new rush of tears prickling at her eyelids. What had caused that
reaction in him? From what Amy had said, he had won the girl. But from the way
he was acting...her thoughts were cut off by a knock on the door.
Amy poked her head in. "Is this okay for you? I don't usually have many guests."
Jaylynn nodded, "It's perfect. thank you."
"Can you tell me what happened?" Amy asked, moving to sit at the foot of the
bed. "Shane and I had a fight." Jaylynn shrugged, staring up at the ceiling.
"I know that. But...you have fought before and I've never seen you like this.
I'm really worried." Amy said. Jaylynn sighed heavily. "It was a really intense
fight. I really don't want ot talk about it right now. Maybe later." Jaylynn
said. Amy nodded, patting her jean clad leg before leaving.
Jaylynn heard a vibrating sound and got up to find her phone. The vibrating
never turned into a ring, so she knew it was a text message. Finally locating
the phone, Jaylynn expected to see Shane's phone number. Instead an email
address popped up.
She read the message and her mind finally remembered where she had seen the
address before. "Angel's Keeper". The message was in all caps and simply said,
"YOU CAN RUN BUT YOU CAN'T HIDE."
