Jaylynn wandered aimlessly through the
hallways backstage at the arena Monday night before Raw. She still hadn't spoken
to Shane McMahon, refusing to be in the same room with him if she could help it.
He had asked her to talk to him, try to work this out, but she had told him that
she needed time. Time alone. That she wasn't ready to talk about it yet. And
Jaylynn felt like hell.
"Hey Jaylynn." Adam Copeland greeted as she began to pass him. Jaylynn jerked to
the present, smiling at Adam. "Hey! How are your ribs doing?" she asked. Adam
had taken a drop from Rikishi wrong and bruised his ribs a month ago.
"Good...good. The trainer finally released me to come back. I've heard that
you've had a rough time lately." he said. Jaylynn groaned. "That's putting it
mildly."
"But your in-ring storyline seems to be going great. I followed it from home.
The crowd seems into it. Especially the whole freaky triangle with you, Shannon,
and Jeff. But...what's up with them adding Shane McMahon to the mix?" Adam
asked, leaning against the wall. "I have no idea. Shane decided to make a TV
comeback...and wanted to be part of my storyline." Jaylynn shrugged.
"Maybe I'll make my comeback in your storyline too." Adam laughed. "Four hot
guys fighting over me...I could definitely deal with that. But you'd have to be
the one to win...the others are all beginning to annoy the hell out of me."
Jaylynn grinned.
"What will you do when you get tired of me though?" Adam asked. "Well, I hear
Lance Storm needs a storyline...and he's kind of cute when he gets serious."
Jaylynn giggled.
"You are hopeless." Adam rolled his eyes. "Yep. I know. But I'm going to go get
ready for tonight. Let's grab a bite to eat together sometime. I can relax with
you, knowing you don't just want me for sex." Jaylynn laughed.
"You're right. I want you to pay for the meal too." Adam smirked. Jaylynn
punched him in the arm. "Creep." She laughed before taking off for the women's
locker room.

Angel was shown tying her wrestling boot up when Shannon Moore barged into her
locker room. "What's going on?" he asked. Angel turned her brown eyes up toward
him innocently. "What?"
"Shane McMahon coming to our rescue? What the heck was he doing?" Shannon asked.
"I honestly have no idea. I don't remember much after Jeff's attack. All I know
is that he took me to the medics room." Angel told him.
"But why did he come out to rescue my girlfriend?" Shannon wondered. "Because
you didn't." Angel shrugged.
"You know that I would have if I had seen it. I was helping your sister with her
luggage during your call out. By the way, what was the point of that?" Shannon
asked. "I am not going to let anyone push me around. Especially not Jeff Hardy."
Angel said.
"But you'll let him beat you up?" Shannon laughed. "Excuse me. I have a match to
get ready for." Angel said, turning her back on Shannon.

Angel heard her music begin and she moved to stand at the top of the ramp. The
crowd popped as Angel walked down the ramp, smiling and waving to the crowd.
She stopped before stepping into the ring, looking wearily at her opponent.
Victoria stood in the center of the ring, snarling at Angel. Steven Richards the
ever constant man by her side. Angel gulped nervously before stepping into the
ring slowly. Steven slipped out of the ring and Angel was left with Victoria.
The women circled each other, Angel nervously casting glances at Steven
Richards. Victoria sent a swift kick to Angel's midsection, causing her to
double over. Victoria grabbed her by the hair and tossed her around the ring.
Victoria repeated this move a few times before Angel used a leg to bring
Victoria down to the mat.
Both women scrambled to their feet and Victoria quickly began throwing punches
at Angel. She hooked her arms through Angel's and delivered a powerful
double-arm, belly to belly suplex that left Angel stunned on the mat.
Victoria dragged her to her feet and pulled the girl up into an amazing Gorilla
Press Slam, showing the incredible strength she possessed. Angel fought out of
her high perch, dropping to her feet and once again sweeping Victoria's feet out
from under her, slamming her face first into the mat.
Angel immediately began to focus on Victoria's left knee, using a rotation of
hanging kneebreakers. Angel quickly rolled Victoria onto her back and locked a
leg lace into place.
Angel had her back almost all the way against the ropes so she didn't notice
Steven creeping towards her. Victoria was struggling to get out of the hold that
was torturing her knee. Steven grabbed Angel's head and slammed it back against
the ropes.
Victoria screeched as it added more pressure to her legs but then Angel released
the hold, turning to glare at Steven, on all fours. Steven grabbed her and this
time choked her using the bottom rope. The referee called for the bell.
Angel heard the crowd cheer but couldn't see why thanks to still being choked
out by Steven Richards. Steven let go and Angel looked up to see Shane McMahon
run down and tackle Richards.
Angel sat up, rubbing her throat, coughing, watching in shock as the two men
battled back up the ramp. Before Angel could get her thoughts back in order, she
saw Jazz stomping down the ramp. She began to crawl backwards only to run into a
pair of legs.
Angel closed her eyes momentarily before slowly looking up to see Victoria
staring down at her. Victoria used Angel's hair to pull her to her feet. Jazz
rushed the ring and pushed Victoria out of her way. She went to attack Angel but
Victoria pushed her back. Finally the two women decided to work together and
began stomping on Angel.
Another crowd pop introduced Molly Holly running down to the ring. Molly slid in
and went to work on Jazz. Angel got to her feet and traded punches with
Victoria, before throwing her out of the ring. Victoria grabbed her women's belt
and slowly backed her way up the ramp, leaving Jazz with Angel and Molly.
Angel and Molly kept Jazz on the defense before Molly got her into the position
for the Molly-Go-Round, which left Jazz laying next to the ropes, out of sorts.
Molly pointed to Angel who ran and did her version of the lionsault which she
had termed the Hallelujah Chorus. Jazz lazy motionless in the middle of the ring
as Angel and Molly stared each other down. Finally Molly reached over and raised
Angel's hand in victory.
