Disclaimer: I don't own any of the wrestlers used in this story, 'cause if I

Tasha owns herself. (Heaven help the person who tries to claim he/she owns
either of us). And I use the wrestlers
wrestling names in the story, JUST DEAL WIT IT! And don't bother suing me...all
you'd get is a half eaten ham sandwich and a bag of chips from 2 years ago.

Rating: So far, it's a PG-13
Content: Nothing bad as of yet, probably won't be anything to bad
either....maybe some cussing.

Jaylynn stepped out of the taxi, taking a
deep breath as she grabbed her bags. She waved to the fans before disappearing
inside the arena, already running late. The moment the door shut behind her,
Shane McMahon materialized in front of her. He pulled her into a hug, but
Jaylynn pulled away.
"You're late. I could fine you." Shane said, sounding wounded. "Fine me then."
Jaylynn stated. Jaylynn and Shane stared each other down.
"Where have you been?" Shane asked. "Around." came her short reply.
"But where? You weren't with Shane Helms, Jeff Hardy or Amy Dumas. You weren't
at your place in Raleigh. You didn't even take your clothes with you." Shane
said. "For the love of God Shane, I'm not three years old. I can certainly buy
clothes, and I can stay on my own, someplace where'd you wouldn't look." Jaylynn
said.
Another stare down ensued but this time Jaylynn broke it. "Wait...how do you
know that I wasn't with Shane, Jeff or Amy? Or that I wasn't at home? And
another thing, why would I be with either Shane or Jeff?" Jaylynn asked. Shane
refused to meet her gaze. "I was asking around to see if anyone had seen you."
Shane saw Jaylynn clench her jaw tightly. "If you think I'm sleeping with them,
then why don't you just come right out and accuse me?" "I don't think we should
be having this conversation right here." Shane said in a low voice.
"Come on Shane...why did you assume I was with Helms or Hardy?" Jaylynn asked.
"Maybe it's because you want them in your bed instead of me." Shane spat in
anger. Immediately his expression showed that he regretted his words but before
he could apologize, Jaylynn slapped him.
Anger hardened his face. He pushed up against her, in what was often used as an
intimidation move in the ring. "I am your boss." Shane reminded her with a
growl. Jaylynn tilted her head up and looked him in the eyes. "Then fire me."
She told him coldly before leaving him standing there.

"Hey Jaylynn." Amy greeted an hour later in the locker room. Jaylynn pulled on a
wrestling boot and offered her a weak smile. "Upset about your fight with
Shane?" Amy asked, sitting next to her.
Jaylynn groaned. "Yes. I'm so stupid. First, to have that fight out in front of
everyone. Second, I was pretty harsh. I shouldn't have slapped him." Jaylynn
said. "Everyone is talking about it. Nearly every single person agrees that you
were in the right. What he said was cruel and he deserved to be slapped." Amy
argued.
"Why does he seem so damn sure that I'm messing around on him?" Jaylynn asked,
looking at Amy. Amy carefully avoided meeting her gaze. "You know something!"
Jaylynn accused.
"Maybe. But we aren't suppose to discuss it." Amy admitted. "Okay, like that'll
keep me from trying to find out." Jaylynn pointed out.
"Fine. I'll tell you, but only because I honestly believe you should know." Amy
said. She took a deep breath before continuing, "A couple years ago we had a
woman on our creative staff named Katrina Milgullin. Really nice girl. She began
to date Shane Helms when he first started here. They were serious and everyone
knew they were leading to marriage. But...things changed." Amy paused.
"What happened?" Jaylynn asked. "Shane McMahon happened. He's on the creative
team too, as you know, and Katrina developed a crush on him. Before long...they
were...holding creative late night meetings, if you know what I mean." Amy
implied.
"They were sleeping together?" Jaylynn gasped. Amy nodded. "Yes. Shane Helms was
devastated. I've never seen him so...destroyed. He vowed to get revenge on
McMahon one day. That he'd take his love from him. Katrina soon left the WWE.
McMahon hasn't forgotten Helms threat. Your being friends with Helms just makes
him paranoid. Hell, McMahon probably thinks that Helms would even stoop to use
Jeff to get you away from him even. He's paranoid." Amy revealed.
"So...I'm just a pawn in their twisted little game?" Jaylynn asked, feeling her
anger return. "No, I don't think so. I think that Shane McMahon really does love
you. And that's why he's so worried. I've never seen him fight to keep someone
like this before. Not even with Katrina or Marissa." Amy said.
Her next words drained all the anger from her body. "And I think that SHane
Helms honestly loves you too." Amy finished.
