We flew in as a surprise for the whole family on Wednesday. We got in around 3pm and drove straight to Mom's work where we simply said, "Hi Mom" when we opened the door - the look on her face was almost blank; she didn't know what to say. Her boss was really nice and let her leave to go home with us. Then Dad finally came home and despite the strange car in the driveway he didn't suspect anything and took his time getting into the house from his work truck (which took 20+ minutes). When he finally walked through the kitchen door and we yelled "Surprise" I thought he was going to fall over. He looked stunned! Sadly, Angela figured it out before we could surprise her because mom was acting so crazy trying to figure out where she was when, and how we would get together for dinner.
