Lloyd Godman is Lecturer in Charge of Photography at the School of Art Otago Polytechnic, Dunedin New Zealand. Lloyd established the photographic Department at the school and has been instrumental in the photographic aspect of the program growing from a Dip of Fine Art to the present BFA and MFA as well as developing the facility into one of the most well equipped and designed in New Zealand. Since 1984 he has engaged in an extensive series of photographic works centred on environmental issues. He has exhibited widely throughout New Zealand, and internationally with more than 32 solo exhibitions and 115 group exhibitions. Since 1989 the photogram technique has been an integral part of his work. |
