| On September 30, 1955, James Dean fell victim to a horrific automobile accident which took his young life. Nearly fifty years later, his soul is rekindled and his life is bestowed upon us as the wrath of James Demons is here for eternity. Gerardo Gaona and the late Cliff Alexander Carrera had an idea to start a band that would include perversion, trash and gore. They wrote "Rockabilly Slut" while fellow friend, Gabriel, added the music. On September 30, 2001, James Demons, a garage rock band from San Gabriel Valley in Los Angeles, California, was born. It consisted of Gerardo Gaona on lead vocals, Gabriel on guitar/vocals, Paul on upright, and Jesse Martinez on Drums. Following several months and a few bar and backyard shows, the band emerged with drummer, Mario Ortiz. The band has never cared to cater to the mainstream crowd and can care less of what they think. They have shared the stage with the best of legends: Fear, UK Subs, Demented Are Go, The Meteors, Dirty Rotten Imbeciles, Decry, Ray Campi and more. With Gabriel now on lead vocals/guitar, Paul on upright/vocals, and Mario on the skins, James Demons are back at full force and here to stay... |
