Highlights from the trip so far....
Nothing compares to a comfortable pair of wooden shoes especially with the fashionable cow print.  I think it should be required foot wear at the office. Don't you??  Ok yes that is me in the wooden shoes but no I did not buy a pair.
To the left is a replica ship of the Amsterdam from the early Dutch sailing days.  You may recall they were once a big naval power. Just once. Amsterdam was great fun!
Amsterdam
Left is the entrance of the Red light district. Sorry no close ups allowed. But overall a very tame district- really!.  Its not what you think.
Below the wood shoes is Rembrandt and to the left is the shoemaker of the many shoes on the right.  As you can see there are many windmills.
In the bottom pics the boat is pulling into a small town: Volkendam. Then there is the Central Train station and a pic of one of the many canals (just like Venice).   I also visited Den Haag home to Mykonos but only one pic of the Peace Palace. See anything wrong with the pic? You should- Email me if you can figure it out..
