"Lord Fear will definitely be interested in my ideas." he smiled to Ruke. "Come, let us go to Marnlehead!" And so off they both went.
The Powers That Be were busy inside Knightmare castle, getting it ready for when the time of reckoning was to come. They had already set up foundations for Level 1 in nearby Arrow Wood, with its vibrant green fields, hustling market place and ancient castle courtyard.
But back in Marblehead, something more sinister was stirring. Lord Fear, Lord Wraith, Morgaine and Lucifer had all colaborated with each other and working out their own masterplan for the lower levels.
"May I begin the proceedings by conjuring up one thousand slaves and sending them down to begin working on our new dungeon!" insisted Wraith.
"And can I add an extra thousand to that number, ensuring we have a whole force of them working for us!" replied Lucifer.
"Excellent." said Lord Fear. "If you also include the goblins and miremen that still remain from ten years ago, our new dungeon will be completed in no time. I wonder how the Powers That Be are getting on, if my assupmtions are correct, their efforts to rebuild the dungeon will be pretty lame compared to ours. Never mind that, once all 3 levels are fully restored, then the Knightmare can start all over once again...."
