I published my first book RASTAFARI - THE NEW CREATION in 1981. Five editions and a novel later, I am always asked by other would-be authors for guidance on getting their work into print. It is difficult to get books with Afrocentric themes accepted by mainstream publishers, and some authors seek self- publishing as the only alternative, though most can't afford it.

With the advent of the Internet, publishing suddenly becomes easier and more accessible to writers and readers alike. There are several new Rastafari authors writing on themes based in this new world religion, Catering to this group, I have created RASTA BOOKS ONLINE as a website where this genre of work can be published and read.

At RASTA BOOKS ONLINE you may read whole or partial manuscripts inspired by the Rastafari religion. Our Library will include novels, plays, poetry, Gospels & Prayers, Political opinions and film scripts. RASTA BOOKS ONLINE invites readers to post their comments in an online dialogue with the authors.

E-books on this site will each feature a counter embedded on that book's final pages to show how many readers visit. A large number of hits will show a reading interest that justifies economic investment by a publishing company. JAMAICA MEDIA PRODUCTIONS will actively pursue this option on the author's behalf.

Pick a Book! Happy Reading! ONE LOVE!
