Jamuna was one of the six hostels for the undergraduate students of IIT Madras. The Sixth Wing is a row of rooms numbered 333 to 364 in that hostel.
From July 1996 to May 1999, these rooms were inhabited by a motley group of characters. Though widely different in their tastes, attitudes, and mannerisms, they were bonded together by their friendship and a common philosophy.
The simple motto of their life was "Enjoy life to the fullest. Don't worry about tomorrow." It was truly a miracle that destiny should conspire to bring together so many, all of whom espoused hedonism dearly.
Then again, this was what made them so unique!
