First Grade lesson plans listed below
Set A lesson plans are First Grade Math lessons which involve sequencing, counting, counting by groups and patterns. Recognizing pattern is a beginning step to understanding more complex mathematical principles. Students can then learn grouping patterns to count, going beyond counting individual items. Lesson set B is an integrated Language Arts unit studying pumpkins. Students will learn there are many other uses for pumpkins than jack-o-lanterns and pumpkin pies. Students will explore how pumpkins grow and compare them to how apples grow which was explored in September.
