| aug 10'01 well.. how long has it been? about 2 months maybe? well- guess what? - I just made it through flight attendant training ..yooohooo! It was the most stressful and longggggest interview process of all! After 6 weeks in Dallas - confined between our very nice accomodation and the Training center... and of being scrutinized for every little thing... make up- lipstick- posture- "attitude" and on top of that -- you have to pass multiple oral and written proficiencies -- wow-- I'm soooo glad it's over! Our class started with 201 -and graduated with 175! Not bad at all! I met a lot of nice and interesting people while I was there and I could totally say that it was an experience I will never forget. This girl named Lisa was my roommate..she's cool and we got along well. We helped each other out through the weeks that we stayed there-- staying up late at night -practicing our P.A.'s (Public Announcements) and studying this "thick" flight attendant manual.. quizzing each other..and just plain goofin around when things seem to get overwhelming. Well-- Thank God it's over! Lisa passed as well-- and we both got "Baltimore" for our first month base.. and we're hoping to get "Oakland" for next month. (Keeping my fingers crossed) .. Well- that's it-- I guess I could now say ''Happy Flyin ALL!" See ya up in the friendly skies! Til then! may 27 Summer time is almost here!!! i'm definitely looking forward to it..Got your bikinis and bathing suits ready? i've been doing a lot of things ..kids are both doing great! Jen was honored as the "most improved" player in her team..she received 2 trophies and a medal for basketball and volleyball.. while Chris' been busy with his "chess" tournaments....as u can tell..both are keeping themselves busy..as for me.. things are the same... trying to keep up with all the things i have to do... oh what fun! march 1 '01 HI..i'm back..did you notice a few changes in here? well..i keep changing layouts..i've got different ideas all the time...so do check back every now and then- you just never know what's gonna pop up next ;) it's MARCH! can u believe it? time is flying by.. Ski trip has been postponed - weather has not been good..although it's clearing up a bit now...hopefully we can go next weekend...In the meantime..there's work to be done here! I'll catch u all later!! feb24 hello..how was everyone's Valentines? got what you wanted? pampered? well..mine was pretty mellow..got some flowers and candies..the usual :) it was nice. i'm trying to update some pages in here..so watch out for some changes..Here's a personal UPDATE: Cut my hair short...it's different ..but i like it :) feb 05 well.. most of the pages here are done..a lot has happened since i last checked in..planning to go skiing in two weeks or so and i should be posting the pics from that soon as i have it scanned... Past weekend was a bit hectic..celebrated my best pal's b-day with some friends...went out dancing -- and boy-- do i hurt ;) i'm sore all over - lol - but oh well.. it was a lot of fun :) jan 6 '01 Happy New Year! Well, it's been a while..I have been busy with all the Holiday hoopla and had a wonderful time! So much has happened and I do know that I needed to catch up -so here I am! My family came down here for New Years Eve..threw a party for some of my closest friends..it was a lot of FUN! Stayed up late and was totally drained the next day..but it was all worth it.. I am still trying to finish some of the pages of our website and hopefully will finish soon..I need to upgrade my "scanner" ..and will add more "memory" for my hard drive to expedite all the work I needed to do in here... I hope you guys are not getting impatient ..Please do check back again.. dec 10 '00 just got back from L.A. ..Spent the weekend babysitting my niece Cay...and watched "Gladiator" over and over again. Anyways..I'm glad I made it home safely. It's almost Christmas..Not done with my shopping yet but hopefully soon...Still have a few things to get. nov 12 Well...i'm still trying to finish our website..It sure is a lot of work! My birthday has gone by and I don't feel any different at all..maybe a few wrinkles here and there - but oh well ;) Been busy the past few weeks..Work is the same..getting ready for "Flu" season..and we're bracing for a very "busy" one in deed! It's been getting really cold (bbrrrr) out here in Calif .. We've had some rain and just heard that we got some "snow" up in the local mountains too...Well, you know what that means... "It's Ski Time!" nov 5 just got back from L.A. again...Spent the weekend with my family..celebrated my birthday...Had a blast!-- oct 8 still working on our homepage...i've got so many different ideas and i desperately need to organize them. Been busy the past couple weeks...a lot has happened both good and bad. Will try to finish homepage as soon as time permits...Check back again later.... sept 30 what a day! Attended a friends wedding this evening...It was one of most "beautiful" weddings I've been so far. Came home late..feeling drained and tired from all the activities today. Mom and Stepdad are visiting from L.A. It sure is nice to see them again. sept 24 Just got back from L.A. Went to visit my sister...she helped me find a dress for the wedding...We scavenged and hunted in every store you can imagine...Tried about a ton of different dresses...Boy! Do i need to take off some inches or what? Getting in and out of those dresses was work out in itself!! |
