| Final Preparations and Final Battle with Ganon |
| Final Preparations Don't be too gung ho and jump in the hole Ganon made in the Pyramid of Power; you have some preparations to do. First, get all the Pieces of Heart you can (which, at this point, is all of them), all four bottles (filled with Blue Potion and faeries), and the Silver Arrows and Golden Sword (if you haven't already). Don't walk into battle with empty hearts or magic, either. Have a full quiver of arrows, full hearts, full magic before jumping down the hole. Final Battle with Ganon: Pyramid of Power Hop down the bat-hole in the top of the Pyramid of Power to have a nice chat with Ganon. There are four stages to this fight: 1. Avoiding the trident that seems to disobey all laws of physics, smack Ganon repeatedly with your sword. 2. Red dots which turn into bats set with a honing device on you will circle Ganon. You can't hurt them, so just dodge. Other than that, just keep using your sword. 3. Ganon sends a fiery bat in circles around him and hops up and down, which knocks away the outer portion of the floor. If you fall down that hole, take the opportunity to refill your hearts (and faeries, if you need them). You'll be fine, but you'll have to start over with stage one of this fight. As Ganon knocks away the floor, yes, you guessed it, keep swinging your sword. 4. Ganon realizes you're more than he bargained for and makes the room go pitch black. Light both the torches with your Fire Rod or Lamp, hit Ganon with your sword and -- before he unfreezes -- shoot him with as many Silver Arrows as you can. Keep this up until you defeat him and a door opens up north of you. Don't be impatient and turn off the game before the credits run out because at the end of them, it will tell you how many times you died in (or turned off the game in the middle of) each castle.
