01. The $$60,000,000,000 Man Meet three men all claiming to be or who are acused of being the legendary gunman Vash the Stampede with the unbelievable bounty of $$60,000,000,000 on his head. Join the unbelievably irritating Millie and Meryl from the Bernardelli Insurance Society in determining which one is the real thing.
02. The Truth of Mistake Discover how much of a spazwad Vash really is in this episode. He is hired as a bodyguard for a rich landowner. However, things aren't quite what they seem.
03. Peace Maker Vash needs his gun fixed by the legendary Frank Marlon but he turns out to be little more than a sad drunk. This episode has it's funny moments and its not-so-funny-yet-still-cool moments too.
04. Love and Peace Oh no! It's a hostage situation! And Vash wanders in on his own will; what a weirdo. Anyway, watch the sides change and situation get worse and worse in this only slightly funny episode.
05. Hard Puncher Vash is ganged up on by an entire town after his bounty for financial reasons. However, they aren't the only ones after the hefty sum. So it's Vash now trying to save the people who wanted to kill him. Sigh.
06. Lost July A plant is threatening meltdown, a catastrophe which would destroy the entire city. Vash meanwhile becomes the... uh... pet of the beautiful Elizabeth, much to Meryl's disgust.
07. B.D.N. Vash hops aboard a sand steamer which is attacked by the vicious Bad Lads Gang, headed by the merciless Brilliant Dynamites Neon.
08. So, Between Wilderness and Sky This is the conclusion to the previous episode. Faceoff between Vash and B.D.N.! Whohoo!
09. Murder Machine Meet my favorite character in the series: Nicholas D. Wolfwood, a wandering priest. Also, hear my favorite line in the entire series upon meeting him. But you'll just have to ask about that later :) Anyway, a little girl gets kidnapped by should-be-dead machines and Vash and Wolfwood go after her.
10. Quick Draw Wolfwood enters Vash into a shooting contest which turns into a match between the two. This is possibly one of my favorite episodes in the entire series.
11. Escape from Pain Wolfwood and Millie help two youngsters escape the caravan. Sorta. I don't know, just watch it. It's good.
12. Diablo Here we meet Legato Bluesummers, Knives' right hand man. Vash is thrown into a prison cell where he fights with Monev, a man who has trained his entire life to kill Vash. You also figure out how Vash has been winning in certain unredeemable-seeming situations.
13. Vash the Stampede This episode is a wee-bit annoying for the first three-fourths, because it's just a recap of all the cool stuff Vash does. In the end, though, there is a bit of new stuff.
14. Little Arcadia A son tries to take his parents' land by force. Vash, Millie, and Meryl act as bodyguards to protect the family. As usual, things get out of control.
15. Demon's Eye Vash fights the first of Legato's Gung-Ho Guns, Dominique the Cyclops. This one has some pretty funny moments. Well, one funny moment. But it's really funny. Really.
16. Fifth Moon Vash now encounters the second and third Gung-Ho Guns, E.G. Mine and Rai-Dei the Blade. This episode is especially exciting because Vash blows a huge crater into the moon. Lots of screaming and hysteria.
17. Rem Saverem This is a flashback episode about Vash and Knives' past. Quite interesting. And quite sad.
18. Goodbye for Now Vash turns from his fighting ways and recedes from the world in this episode by coming to live with a family in a small town. However, he is pushed from hiding by Wolfwood and knowledge of Knives' recent actions.
19. Hang Fire Wolfwood and Vash assist in breaking up a family feud; meanwhile, Millie and Meryl work to travel from the Bernardelli Insurance Society back to their charge.
20. Flying Ship Vash must fight the Gung-Ho Gun, Leonof the Puppetmaster on board an ancient ship in the sky. Meanwhile, Wolfwood attempts to avoid getting shot by the suspicious people on the ship.
21. Out of Time This is the conclusion to the previous episode. It's not very funny or happy, though. Sad times.
22. Alternative The foursome meet a bunch of orphans just recently abandoned. In the childrens' midst, though, is the fifth Gung-Ho Gun, Zazie the Beast. Creepy.
23. Paradise This is the saddest episode ever. Wolfwood meets his former teacher and must reconcile his past and present, as well as his feelings towards Vash's philosphy of life. Meanwhile, Vash is busy fighting people. Yay! I love this episode. It just makes me a little teary. And I'm not ashamed to admit it.
24. Sin Vash must face Midvalley the Hornfreak (crazy!!!) and Legato. It's pretty exciting.
25. Live Through Vash tries to reconcile what happened last episode and thinks about what to do once he confronts Knives.
26. Beneath This Sky so Blue This is the final battle between Knives and Vash; it's pretty intense. |
