Jennifer walks over to find a pleasant looking version of herself sitting in the grass near the edge of the forest. �Hello� Jennifer says. �Hello!� replies the other Jennifer in a cheery voice. �Let me guess. You�re the side of my personality I show to the general public.� �Quite right! As you can see, you are generally a happy person. You tend to find the best of every situation. Just look at now. One of your best friends is in the hospital. But do you act all gloomy and depressed? No! You hold your head high and hold up other�s spirits at the same time.� Jennifer half smiles, �Yeah, I guess so. But I�m not really happy. I was quite relieved to see my friend. I was really worried about her.� Cheery Jennifer smiles and replies, �It�s true what you show to the outside world is not always the complete truth of what you�re feeling inside. But there�s nothing wrong with that. Especially if it helps others get through their day.� �I suppose. But sometimes I really want to share my ideas with others.� Jennifer glances towards the cave of ideas. When she turns back, her cheery self has vanished. �Not again. Ugh...� |
