MP bans cow slaughter

The Madhya Pradesh Governor, Ram Prakash  Gupta, has accorded his assent 

to an Ordinance banning cow-slaughter in the state. Now anyone found guilty of killing

a cow or getting one killed by others be punished with three years' imprisonment 

or a fine of Rupees 10,000 or both.

The ban will also prevent any person from keeping beef in his or her possession.

The Ordinance makes cow slaughter related crime cognisable and non-bail able.

The imposition of a complete ban on cow slaughter in the state comes as a

fulfillment of the Chief Minister, Uma Bharti's pre-election promise.

Happy Mahavi jayanti to all its viewer.

Prabhat pheri in the morning starting from Gujrat apartment. After taking round of Pushpanjali Enclave and other near by colonies it finished at mandir ji. At Mandir ji  collective puja was performed.

Light breakfast was served at the end of the function.

Dr. Hukamchand Bharill is the founder of several educational institutes and trusts in India. 

He is a scholar of Jainism and has written more than forty books that have been translated into many languages. Children and adults worldwide use his books for studying and understanding Jainism. Upon request from the international Jain community he has been conducting lectures in the US since the early1980's. One of the most attractive qualities of Dr. Bharill is his ability to transform complex Jain philosophies into simple and understandable principles. His lectures are easy to understand, easy to relate to because he uses everyday life examples and full of humor to make the point. We are fortunate to have him visit the Mandir over the last three years and encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity.
