Hold Exercise Arms

Indirectly it helps one attain good posture, balance and control.
It also never steps on your toes
and obeys unconditionally to any demand.

Hold a chair or a stool, balanced on the fingers. The hold should not be very strong. The elbows and the shoulders are in the same horizontal plane. The forearm however inclines downwards and forward from the elbows such that there is a small gap maintained between the object and you.

The object, stool or a chair should not be very light. When required to practice walk, this way with an object for about an hour, the arms and back is bound to pain if the posture adopted is not right.

When one starts to experience any pain, then immediately one should consciously experiment minor variations in postures. This will help one attain the correct postures as per one's constitution.

Once one has achieved a bit of mastery in this, the next part is to exercise with a glass full of water, balanced on the object. Care should be taken to avoid the spilling of water.

Such balanced and controlled movements would be required through out the dance.
