Sat.10.27.01 - Today was pretty cool. Cooler weather, a wedding, seeing lots of relatives, and the Halloween dance!
Maggie and I went goth for Halloween. I took a bunch of picutres on Rick's digital camera, but I won't get those for a little while. For the time being, though, I offer the picture of myself to the right.
Maggie did the makeup, and I had to borrow everything I'm wearing in that picture except my boxers (thanks to James for the pants & shirt, Jitters for the jewelry, and Sean for the boots). Maggie was really creepy, and did a great job with her outfit. A bunch of people said we should have won the costume contest for scariest or best couple. But guess who won best couple... HAO (MOTHERFARKING) FENG! Grrrr! That is, Hao and whoever he dressed up with won it. I'm really not a big fan of that jerk.
We also went to Fourth East's Haunted House I-Viz. The line progressed really slowly (only 6 people at a time) but it was very well done, and pretty creepy. Maggie was essentially riding piggyback on me, and the girl behind her gave her a red mark on her shoulder from grabbing so hard. I, as the cool removed boyfriend, just sort of walked along. But parts of it
were kinda scary.
The wedding was really cool. Tom got married, and Jeremy was oen of his... uhh... male bridesmaids analogues. And at the reception I got to see a buttload of relatives, including Grandma's sister Elly, who lives in California. Grandma's family is comprised of rather short people... at more and more family functions I just feel really tall.
I really just wanted to do a post to talk about today. I've decided I can't stand Angelfire's crappy servers any longer, so I'm transferring to
Angelcities for the new site design. The new design is pretty groovin, and uses a simplified site structure that I sort of like (but some people would call Mystery Meat Navigation). I'm going to write a new, slightly cheerier and simpler bio for it, and include pictures of the stuff in my life (like Maggie, my dorm room, and the juniors on hall).
