Broken Expectations
I wrote Broken Expectations during a time in my life when I felt incredibly betrayed. I felt everyone was selfish; and only concerned with themselves. Broken Expectations depicts the way I've felt led on by certain people. I was led to believe in everything they told me, and in the people they portrayed themselves as. In the end, all of my "expectations" were broken. I have now learned that you should never expect anything from anyone.

It was pretty ironic that I wrote I'll Be after ending things with a person whom I had only been talking to for a short while. You'd think I'd be down about the situation, but I wasn't. I was actually more excited to move forward and continue looking for mr. right. I'll Be expresses all the things I want to be to that special person. Maybe one day I can pull this little poem out and dedicate it to the perfect guy when he comes along.
- Best Line: "I'll be the sprinkles on the icecream that was plain."

Just Believe is a song I wrote about believing in yourself, and knowing that some things happen for a reason. I wrote it to remind myself, and others that giving up on yourself and living a lie for a life isn't worth it.

I wanted to write a short commentary on people's intentions, and how they "kill hope." This is how False Intentions came into play. I wrote it after experiencing yet another bad break-up. I want people to read this and completely be able to relate to it. False Intentions makes you realize you're not the only one whose had your hopes crushed.
- Best Line: "They then decide to switch characters, and turn into cold-hearted thieves that steal your expectations away from you and smack you in the face with the loss of all hope."

Boundaries is another commentary I wrote. This has to do with the boundaries people place upon love. I've noticed that everyone is so concerned with what is socially right, or what is accepted by others. They get so caught up in this that they forgot about what real love is. Boundaries helps to remind you of what real love should be.
- Best Line: "I have realized that when someone really touches your soul and reaches into the deepest parts of you.. nothing matters!"
