Creative Writing 101
This is my favorite part about writing.  I took a creative writing course at college, and loved it.  The only way to flunk the class was not to do the work, or not to take the work seriously.  We had so many topics that we did, that I wish I could remember them all.  Here are a few that I do have. I also like to pull one of these out when I get a writers block.  It seems to help!!   Please feel free to do them and send them to me and I will post them if you would like. Or if you have some challenges you may also send them.

1.
Release your creative side with one of the word listed:  honey,
crook, rose, spring, bed, or fruit.  Write a paragraph using that
word as many times as you can.

Example:
On day a lady was out on a walk when she noticed a honeybee hive. She thought to herself how much her honey would like to see that honeybee hive.  Her honey was a honey collector so they had honey all the time.
She got home and shouted to her honey.  He came running in with a honeycomb that was dripping honey all over her newly cleaned floor.

2.
Descriptive Paragraph From a Sea Captain's View of a storm
write a descriptive paragraph using the five senses.

3.
Write your Own Obituary (the only one that I did not want to do)

4.
You are a animal! Discuss the environment from the viewpoint
of a wild animal.  like a  fish, bear, elk, fox, ect...

5.
List 4 qualities about one of the words listed, then turn it into a
descriptive paragraph.   cat, dog, fire, mountains, water, roses,
    or kiss

6.
Write a paragraph that describes your hand. (sounds easy right?)

But can you do it without using the words like nails, fingers,
     hand,  ect...?

7. Find a picture in a book, and write your own story about what
     you see in the picture.

8. Write about a wedding that takes place in the year 4005.
