Name:  Ardeth Bay
Actor/Actress:  Oded Fehr

Probably my all time favorite character in "The Mummy" movies is Ardeth Bay.  He's the leader of a mysterious group of people called the "Med-Jai."  They are the decendants of Pharaoh Seti's bodyguards and made a vow to watch the city and protect it from intruders, also keeping "He Who Shall Not Be Named" (Or Imhotep) undiscovered.  They failed in that respect when they confronted Evelyn and her expedition.  Ardeth remained friends with the O'Connells and also asked their aid to stop a cult from allowing Imhotep reign over the Army of Anubis ("The Mummy Returns")
Name:  Beni Gabor
Actor/Actress:  Kevin O'Connor

There aren't words to really describe Beni.  He will do anything for money and usually only cares about what happens to him rather than what happens to everyone else.  He led the Americans to Hamanaptra for a good sum of money, then ended up working for Imhotep to save his own neck.  Beni...well...he didn't make it to the next movie...><
Name:  Burns
Actor/Actress:  Tuc Watkins

Burns is one of three American treasure hunters out of Seti's gold.  However, he and his friends opened a cursed chest, and with it, the canopic jars that were inside.  When Evelyn woke Imhotep, it was Burns' eyes and tongue used to replace Imhoteps.  He was the first to die in Cairo.  He didn't make it for the second movie either....
Name: Daniels
Actor/Actress:  Corey Johnson

Another one of the Americans, Daniels made the bet with O'Connell that they'd reach Hamanaptra before them.  Daniels was the longest surviving American that opened the cursed chest.  But he didn't live long enough to come back in the sequel.
Name:  Henderson
Actor/Actress: Stephen Dunham

Henderson was the reckless American.  He wasn't afraid to tell it like is.  Too bad his attitude didn't prevent Imhotep from killing him.  Yep...yet another guy that didn't make it to the second movie.
Name:  Dr. Chamberlain
Actor/Actress:  Jonathan Hyde

Okay, he's the Egyptologist that accompanied the Americans to Hamanaptra.  You would think he would be the smart one, right?  Well no, he opened the chest too, and ended up dying a painful and agonizing death at the hands...I guess...of Imhotep.
