Evelyn Carnahan was a librarian at the Cairo Museum when she first set out to find Hamanaptra. She employs the help of Rick O'Connell, whom had actually been to the city. She accidentally awakens Imhotep, but with her knowledge of Ancient Egypt, she and her friends were able to defeat him. Shortly after the fall of Hamanaptra, Rick and Evelyn were married and they had a son named Alex. During a trip to the Oasis of Ahm Shere, she discovers that she is the reincarnation of the Princess, Nefertiri, daughter of Seti the First.

The ne'er do well brother of Evelyn, he is more bent on getting rich and drinking than the actual adventuring he and his sister always end up doing. He's greedy, but an all around nice guy. He's protective over his nephew, Alex and respects Evelyn.

Former legionnaire and all around tough guy, Rick met Evelyn while he was in Cairo Prison. She freed him with the condition that he take her and her brother to Hamanaptra. He agreed and was there to help destroy Imhotep. He and Evelyn were married and a son was born. He will do anything to keep Evy and Alex away from harm. Even if it means facing off with mummies.
Actor/Actress: Freddie Boath
Alex is the son of Rick and Evelyn O'Connell, he appears in "The Mummy Returns" and is quite the trouble maker. He has his dad's quick thinking and bravery, and his mother's intellegence when it comes to all things Egyptian. He's a good kid, despite that trouble always seems to follow anywhere Alex goes.
