The Parivesh Suraksha Aandolan has completed a full two years! Dear neighbour, let us discuss the fruits of your tireless effort...

• Rubbish heap along the pond bank - has disappeared
• Illegal parking of trucks/buses and the consequent severe noise and air pollution - have stopped(even though the fight continues!)
• The rule of the goons has ended
• United resistance has stopped progression of illegal encroachment in the area - quite unlike what is happening opposite the telephone exchange and near the market
• Dumping of building material on the road has been largely controlled - few areas of problem do remain
• Police and the councillors have been continually kept in touch with events in the locality - no more do we live in a NO MAN'S LAND!
• Most remarkable - various cultural programs arranged around the year have gradually brought the people of the community close to one another
• We are expecting more good news in the near future...
