As you can see for yourself, a tiny segment of the pond and the road that runs through the heart of the community - the 6 ft wide pond-bank littered with rubbish, a similar width of the road blocked by callously dumped construction material. Further to the right(not visible in photo), and more towards the middle of the road stands(stood!) our beloved lorries. keep an eye on those structures in the blurred background.

That solitary figure, unrecognizable at this distance, could be anyone. May be an innocent passerby trying to find an address. Yet his stance is quite symbolic of the "I am the monarch of all I survey" kind of attitude some of our neighbourhood goons flaunted. One and a half years down the Parivesh Suraksha road, they probably still do, though not in public.

We could show you many such examples, and describe in greater detail what used to be a chaotic and dirty hell, but we do not wish to make you suffer the way we have in the past. So lets get on with the story of The Fight .
