Rabindranath Tagore's Birth Anniversary - 25th Baisakh or thereabouts(usually early May); Cultural function with song, dance and recitation.

Independence Day Celebrations - 15th August; Flag hoisting and General Meet.

Bijoya Sammelani - Post-Durga Puja; Community dinner and cultural programmes(mostly impromptu).
