What types of content do competitors use on their website?
There are websites like Goodreads, who allow all users to leave their reviews on books. There are other book sites, that are more like books blogs, where they share opinions, reveiws, and theories of books. Mine would be similar to the blogs.
What types of images are used?
Many of the images on these sites are either, the covers of the books, or aesthetic type photos to relay the content of the books. On some sites there are also photos of the creators of the website, whether they be reading, or just writing about themselevs.
What color schemes are used?
There are all sorts of color schemes, as I believe it can be very diverse when it comes to books. However, the majority of these sites are set in neautral or dull colors.
Layout styles and techniques used?
Some of these websites have a listed format. Where they may recommend books for the summer, fall, rainy weather, etc. Others have it formatted with the book covers, and then their review. Some have blogs, where they write a long, in depth review of the book. Most of these websites are divided into tabs, by genre.
