Jackie and Anthony at the zoo
October 14, 2007
Jacqueline's two year transplant anniversary is tomorrow! We are thrilled with the progress she's made. It is nice to see her healthy and enjoying life. Her only complaints lately are bone pains and headaches. A few weeks ago we visited the hospital to get some testing done. Her bone scan and MRI are normal, as well as bloodwork. So right now those issues are a mystery. I feel better knowing that we ruled out anything serious. Her pain episodes are easily lifted with pain reliever.
She started Kindergarten and LOVES IT. Her teacher is great with her. Jackie always talks about the songs they sing and stories they read. They've recently studied the planets. She's hooked on the subject. She loves the photos of the planets and stars.
We miss him much and know he'd be thrilled to see how active and alive she is now, thanks to his quick work in the beginning. We know he is watching over her from above.
