The Jacobo Z. Gonzales Memorial School of Arts and Trades (JZGMSAT) is a TESDA administered school mandated to provide trade technical curriculum for high school graduates, post secondary trade curriculum and trade opportunity for the province of Laguna. It was established by virtue of Republic Act 1905 sponsored by the late Congressman Jacobo Zarraga Gonzales in 1960.

The school was formerly known as Biñan National School of Arts and Trades situated in San Antonio, Biñan a municipality within the first district of Laguna. It was however re-named JZGMSAT in honor of the late Congressman who sponsored the establishment of the school on 1979 through DECS endorsement and a provincial Council Resolution No. 97-A on November 16, 1976.

After the tri-focalization of the educational system, and the passage of Republic Act 7796 otherwise known as TESDA Act of 1994 the school its supervision was transferred to the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority.

The school focuses its programs to technical-vocational education and training providing a good opportunity to its graduates for labor employment in the locality.

To ensure the programs introduced are relevant to the needs of stakeholders, the scheme has enrolled in continuous upgrading of curriculum with regular validation with target clients. This institutional plan provides the basis of documenting and introducing specific delivery, timelines, success measures and risk analysis for each activity. The business plan also includes details of JZGMSAT organizational structures, unit functions, resources and evaluation.
