Squeaky Clean Mobile Car Wash & Detail

Bringing the clean to you

About Us

Squeaky Clean Mobile Car Wash & Detail was formed in 1997 by Charles Hutton. It started as just a mobile car wash, serving a small section of Atlanta, Georgia. Now, more than twenty years later, it has grown into a larger business, adding car detailing to its list of services and employing more than fifteen detailers. It has also expanded its service area to include the metro Atlanta area. Squeaky Clean was the original provider of mobile car detailing in the Atlanta area. We strive to provide every customer with high quality service at a reasonable cost. Contact us for an appointment today!

The intent of this website is to explain the benefits of having a car detailed and to promote the fact that the company will travel to the customer's location. To complete these objectives, I explained the benefits of car detailing on the Home page. I made sure the word "Mobile" was included in the company name, and I reiterated the mobility aspect on this page in order to ensure the viewer understands that the company will travel to the viewer to detail their car. The goal of this website is to reach a larger customer base and boost revenue.

I chose the orange color scheme and the car image in order to keep the page bright and engaging. I chose the typeface because I felt that it went well with the overall design of the page while also looking professional. I added the shadow effect to the white lettering to help it stand out from the background and make it more legible for the viewer. On the Home page, I chose to explain the benefits of car detailing and add a video, as I thought it would help the viewer understand why this service is important. On the About page, I chose to give a brief background of the company to help the viewer get to know Squeaky Clean a little better. I also provided the map of Metro Atlanta in order to help the viewer better understand what areas the company services. On the Packages and Pricing page, I chose to put each package into the cell of a table and added a background to the cells because I thought it was more visually appealing and engaging to the viewer. I also used this reasoning to create a table for the Promotions page. The background on the table cells helps the promotions pop more, as opposed to having a solid background. On the Contact page, I gave the viewer the option to contact Squeaky Clean or vice versa, as each person has different preferences when it comes to contact. I also made sure to include selections for the best time of day to contact the viewer in order to provide as much convenience and flexibility as possible for the viewer. I made sure to also include a "Submission Successful" message upon submission of the contact form, so that the viewer would have visual confirmation that the company received their information. I kept each page organized and made sure the site flowed logically in order to make the site easy to use.

I would like to make this website more mobile-friendly and experiment with it on different operating systems to ensure that it works in all different viewing environments. I would also play around with Javascript to see if I could use it to enhance the website more. If I had more time, I would've continued to tweak my code in order to continue making it mobile-friendly by altering the navigation bar and adjusting the text on the banner at the top of the screen. In future updates, I would love to include links to connect with Squeaky Clean on social media, along with a live chat option. I would also like to update the site to include reviews from previous customers, and I would change the video on the Home page to a video created by my uncle, as opposed to a video from YouTube.
