This one was almost as fun as Drunken Master. I wish that the store had the subtitled version, but I eventually got used to the voices. The voice for Jackie sounded too old.
During the opening sequence, I thought that somehow I had managed to rent The Drunken Master again! They both started out similar. I believe that this movie was made before The Drunken Master, but in the same year.
Like the other movie, I enjoyed the training sequences. The snake fist style was very enjoyable to watch as well as that scene where he is washing the floors and the guy (can't remember the names at the moment) tries to dirty them up with the powder (the second time).
When I try to think of the most annoying part, all I can think of is when he developed the cat claw style and there is a cat screaching everytime he uses that move. My mom thought that they were killing the cat!!
It's wierd, but the movements seem even more fluid and less staged in this than in The Drunken Master.
BTW, don't rent Snake in Eagle's Shadow II. It is a rip off, doesn't even have Jackie in it despite what the box says!
