| (03/02/02) - I heard that Lily Chan, Jackie's mom, died several days ago (3?) in bed. The funeral will be in June. Jackie is eating very little and is very serious on the Highbinders' set. I hope this will not be the straw that breaks the camel's back. He will be leaving for Australia in a few days. (02/19/02) - Jackie got hurt yesterday on the set of Highbinders! He was instructing a scene with stunt wires and one of them snapped. Happy that he had not fallen, the crew rushed to him to find he was covering his face and bleeding badly. The wire had smacked him across the face, between his nose and left eye; the cut was deep. Not wanting to go any more over budget, Jackie got bandaged up and continued filming the fight scenes! (01/12/02) - I heard that Jackie did an infomercial for Cableflex! Go here for the site. 12/24/01 - Good news! Willie is out of the hospital! He was able to spend Christmas Eve with his family! 12/23/01 - I heard that Willie will be allowed to leave the hospital as soon as his fever goes down! Still don't know what was wrong with him. 12/21/01 - I just got word today that Willie Chan (Jackie's manager) was sent to the hospital after being found unconscious at his office yesterday. His condition was labeled as serious, then changed to stable. Some say it might be a heart attack, but he had been eating vegetable as a doctor's recomemdation after an earlier heart opperation. Jackie was reported to have flown to Hong Kong this weekend to monitior Willie's progress. Thankx to the Jackie-L list for info! |
