Not Scared to Die
Sad to say, I found this more worth watching than The Protector even though I will probably never watch either again.
This movie was about the Japanese taking over China, so the Japanese aren't shown in a good light.
Jackie's character isn't in it much and he was only 19 at the time and has really short hair. He has a couple of fight scenes.
I found it interesting at how (except for the final battle) that it only took a few hits to knock some of the Japanese people out/kill them when Jackie's character got beat up (twice), kept trying to attack the Japanese, they stabbed him and he was able to crawl "home" and give information to his friends before he died.
When I rented the tape, it was only watched 10 minutes into it and not rewound. The first part had me seriously thinking about stopping it; the camera was moving all over the place and doing wierd closeups with dramatic music playing. Since it was dubbed (badly I add), I turned the volume down so that I could just hear the music and turned it up when it looked like the people were saying something important.
This really isn't that bad of a movie for back then in HK, just as long as you don't compare it with today's standards. This is very bloody as well. I suggest seeing it if you like old HK films or you want to see Jackie's death scene.

6/10 (loses some for bad dubbing, but gains some of it back for the good death scene)
