| I was so happy to get this movie for 5 bucks since I wasn't about to pay 4 times as much to order it over the internet. It actually wasn't as bad as Jackie's autobiography made it sound. The version I saw was dubbed, but it sounded pretty professionally done! Except for the lady that yelled the same way everytime she attacked someone and the older man that had a heart attack. There was only a small handful of bad voice actors instead of only a few good ones which seems to be the norm for the older movies that should be treated like classics. I was confused a few times. Maybe that is due to the fact that I hadn't seen Fist of Fury with Bruce Lee. Things made a little more since after seeing the movie a second time. Also, as I was hoping, the same guy as in my last review did the dubbing of Jackie's voice. I need to review my other older tapes to see if he does them all. I am starting to like that voice, much better than I did at first. Now...my only complaint: The ending!! I almost chucked my remote at the screen! I'm not so mad about the way it ended, but the fact that it DID end! Couldn't there have been just a few minutes added to give it a proper ending?? I'm trying really hard not to give away any spoilers. If anyone does want to be spoiled, feel free to e-mail me. 8/10 (might have gotten an extra point if not for the ending.) |
