| Wahhh! Anyone have any 3D glasses they could lend me? Has anyone seen this with the glasses? Poor Jackie. Musta been hard on him trying to direct the stunts and action! Funny line: (guy speaking to Jackie's character) "You've been hit by a poisoned dart and have only a few hours to live. Luckily, here's the antidote!" Now, for the review. I was able to get this subtitled, so no bad English dubbing!! The subtitles did run off the screen a bit, less towards the end. In my copy, there was a part at the temple (about 10-30 seconds) that repeated. Other than the many attempts to have stuff "jump" out at the audience, this wasn't really that bad of a movie....except...What was with the ending!! The deaf guy is pratically dying (held above the bad guy's head). The two heros rush in to save him, slay the bad guy, he drops the good guy. 'The End' flashes before he falls, then the screen goes black!! That pissed me off! All they needed was 20 more seconds--They rush to their friend as the bad guy falls. He nods that he is okay and stands, victorious music plays, The End, fade to black. Oh well. 6.8/10 (Would have gotten a 9 except for ending (or lack of) and the stupid snakes striking at the camera.) |
