I caught the dubbed version on TV awhile ago. The first time I saw it when I was cruising through the channels, I realized that Jackie didn't do his own dubbing so I watched one of my tapes instead.
Since then, I decided to watch it--all of it. Boy, the voices are bad! Expecially the kids'. Jackie's VA gets better.
The emotional scene where they are crying and his friend joins in (Pictured above)...my dad and I busted up laughing! The voices make it sound so corny! I even laughed the second time!
After I finished watching it...I realized that I really liked it, even though there weren't many fighting scenes and that this is a drama with some comedy thrown in.
This film didn't get great reviews, which is too bad. I would have liked to see some more dramas from Jackie.
I'm going to try to find a subtitled VHS version that wont cost me an arm and a leg to purchase. Why is it so hard to find subtitled anything in my town!
