| I might have been in the same mood as I was when I was watching Twin Dragons. For most of the movie, I was grinning like an idiot!! This really is a cute movie. (Would have been better if it was Jackie's voice!) The girl started to get annoying after awhile. The dubbed voices seemed to fit the charaters pretty well, even the obnoxious voice of the girl's father! This movie has some of the best fight scenes that I have seen yet! Even if you think that the movie is stupid, at least watch it for the fight scenes. I was surprised that they kept the original (I'm assuming it was since it wasn't Engish) song when Jackie was training! At the end, with the outtakes, a lot of them were mess ups with lines, so they weren't as funny as they should have been since the music was played over the voices (it would be hard to dub outtakes!) I watched this about 5 more times and it kept getting better! I change my review 7.8/10 VCD Review Wow! It is almost like watching an entirely different movie! So many scenes were taken out including ones from the training/workout scene! Even the fight scene was better, music was almost the same and I was disappointed that it was dubbed into Chinese instead of the English that it was filmed in, but having it in widescreen was much better. The scene was even more impressve! The outtakes were better. They still had the dialogue messups, but with sound! I still couldn't understand them though. More scenes with Bu and Albert! Even a scene where he made her tell her old boy friend that she didn't love him! Her dad was less annoying and more of his dialogue made more sense. He only spoke Cantonese (or was in Mandarin?) while his wife spoke both and Bu also spoke English. Confused? I am. Not sure if that is all correct. 9.3/10 |
